money_maker wrote: »hmmm thanks for that link MDW, Chester looks quite good and I could get Chris and Jas tickets to go see a match and I could take Dylan to meet you lot for a day in Liverpool !!
Need to check what date Jas goes back to school though before I book but that could be an option !
Would it be an option to get the boat and bring the car?
When we went to Dublin last year, although flying was cheaper, flying and hiring a car was a lot more expensive.
Chester is good for history, the river is gorgeous, the swimming pool is my favorite. Just outside Chester, The Crocky Trail is a really good day out, Jas would love it, and it is possible to get around with a buggy.

Chester Races do a family fun day which is a lovely day out, but I think it's normally at the start of August.
Chester Zoo obviously. Theres the Blue Planet at Cheshire Oaks which is good for a rainy day.
Wirral is about 20 minutes away on the train and has a couple of lovely beaches, West Kirby, Hoylake and New Brighton.

SpacePort is here too which has got a Wallace & Gromit exhibition on this year.

You can get the 'Ferry cross the Mersey' from Wirral to Liverpool for loads of things to do.
I'm starting to sound like I work for the Tourist Office.:beer:0 -

Kindof, I'd leave him too!0

I would wake my baby to change a nappy if I was sure it was dirty, but if I had been up half the night and knew she was not going to sleep much longer, I would be tempted to leave it until she woke up.
Why are you catching up here instead of catching up on your sleep!!!?? Remember you don't have to fully keep up here - we know everyone is busy with children to look after. Just in case you are worried about it. x0 -
Warning, feeling sorry for myself post coming up...
After feeling guilty yesterday morning for feeling ill and not doing much with C, I felt even more guilty yesterday afternoon when she literally screamed pretty much the whole way through her second settling-in session at nursery. On Tuesday she was fine, but that was because I was with her. Yesterday I left her and she was so upset, it made me cry too (although I waited until I was out of sight) but all I could her was her screaming, not even just crying
She only took 20mls of milk and ate an oat cake whilst she was there (was there for 2hrs). She fell asleep for 20mins in one of the nursery nurse's arms, so that's one positive but I feel like crap for subjecting her to it and knowing that I could instantly stop her from being upset if I just went in and picked her up.
They're letting me take her back on Monday afternoon for another go, but I just know it's going to be the same, and I'm working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week (she's due to go to nursery Wed afternoon and all day Thursday).

Hugs Choppy. I guess it's similar to most mothers returning to work. It must be distressing, but you know it will be short lived if you stay strong. She won't love you any less. x0 -

Fantastic news!
kindof, personally I'd wait until he woke up unless you noticed it leaking out _pale_ - especially if you know he'll be difficult to re-settle! (and at this time of morning he prolly would be since it's "wake up" time)
Just a flying visit, as we've got our 1st baby massage class this morning.

i can't wait for our baby massage class. i did it with ds1 and he loved it. The waiting list was so long i booked it 2 months ago and we still don't start for another 2 weeks. still it has given his skin chance to clear up. After months it just took one good doc to say this is what he has and give us the magic cream. We asked the derm doc how long he would have the condition for and how long it would take to clear up when he said 1-2 weeks and it would all be gone we had to pick our jaws up off the floor. If only we had seen him months ago h wouldn't have had to suffer. This is my signature!0
