Good luck for today SM! :D

    And happy birthday Katie :)

Lily has been crying most of this morning again. She only does it when im alone. I tried everything to calm her, even cuddles didn't work.

So i put on some music for her and laid her in her rocking chair and she keeps dropping off to sleep and waking up. I think she doesn't want to sleep as when she was on laying on me, she would relax and start dropping off. Then suddenly throw herself back and wake up and then scream again, she's a moo :p

Also, Lily's Baby Acne is clearing up! :j It was really bad across her cheeks and forehead, but now her skin is looking lovely :) She still has really dry rough patches by her eyebrows but hopefully they will sort themselves out soon.

    Hello everyone,

    good luck today SM!
I hope all the poorly babies are better today - I hope we hear from caz soon about Charlie

Currently trying to work out why I got my child benefit today - it's early? Didn't expect it until the end of the month. Not complaining though :)

    Question:
Just got my babycentre email and part of it says
Soon you will have your six-week postnatal check

Is it always 6 weeks? Mine isn't until May and she will be 8/9 weeks then.

    :)

I can't believe that Elena is still asleep! It's been an hour and a half - I'm usually lucky if she sleeps for 20minutes during the day :D

3 - have seen bunk bed cots and I know mil has them at her nursery but I dint know where there from, also I think I remember mil saying they had a silly weight limit!

Jillie - don't even have room for a table other wise that would be good idea, fingers crossed we get moved this year.

Caz - hope the hospital were able to do something for C x

kindof - eek for a rubbish morning hope E let's you get some sleep soon. Oh and def give the sleeping bags a go if you already have them, T deffinatley sleeps better in hers and I think it helps her recognise night sleep from a day nap if that makes sense.

Fitz - (think it was u) eek at parking mortgage!!!

SM - am sure you'll be fab but doesn't hurt to wish you more luck x

    Happy birthday to Katie :)

Well went backwards with the dummy yesterday as T wouldn't take one at any point to help settle her, tho as she went to bed without too much issue am not too fussed.
Got the car back yesterday it had to have a few repairs to pass it's mot but not too expensive thank goodness, they did give us a list of other stuff that needs doing too so will have to get them done a bit a time. Also they quoted us the wrong price as they hadn't included the price if the actual mot in the total but told us they had, but as we were paying cash and hadn't taken any other payment so they let us off as it wad their fault :)

Anyone watching Holby? Wish I looked like Chrissie post c-section! Ha ha, she just rolled in bed from one side to the other. I couldn't do that for about a month after I had H!

I though that too. She moved without so much as a tiny flinch! :rotfl:

Hey Gym no I didnt :( I managed ok with E today though, but he cried for two hours from half 6 :( its wrecked the three of us, Awwwwww G is lush

    (((HUGS))) CAZ

I'm off to bed, we are wrecked, E screamed from about half 6 till half 8 :(

Kindof - Alex used to scream from around 6pm to 8pm every night. We called it the witching hours. It was horrendous, we ate our tea in two sittings or I just waited until gone 9 when Alex was in bed. I hate to say it but this only stopped at about 61/2 months. He suffered with terrible colic and reflux. We use colief drops - http://www.colief.com/ - in his bottles. (expensive at nearly £10 a bottle, but you can get them on prescription from your Dr.) This did help quite a lot. But as said many times before, it's all about perseverance.

Hope Charlie is doing better now, and other poorly children.
    Happy Birthday to Katie
Hugs and sorry for your redundancy Jam
Yay for breakthrough in Benjamins bedtime.
Lovely photos yesterday, of Guy, Henry and Amber in her L&G.

Bedtime & Sleeping - Alex now goes down between 7-7.15pm. Take him to his room, change into sleepsuit and sleeping bag, story, last bottle , in his cot, kiss and seahorse on. And leave him. Most of the time he is asleep within 5 mins, sometimes I may have to go back and put his dummy in. He still wakes once or twice in the night, I feed him whilst still in the cot, put seahorse on again and leave him to it. Seems to be working. :D (And you just know tonight it will all go wrong)

He would probably go down earlier, last night he fell asleep downstairs at 6.45pm, but if he did we would hardly see him at all with only getting home at 5.30pm from work every night.:(

And above all else, I have to sing the praises of he Hazelwood teething Necklace, (and Sami for her suggestion) ever since putting it on, my little bubba has changed from a screaming nightmare, to a lovely pleasant, smiley little man.

WM - we have the opposite effect with the necklace - I tried it again today and he screamed for the entire 20minutes it was on! Took it off and he smiled and is now fast asleep!

I think Alex and J have swapped! I'm seriously thinking about just bringing him in our bed from now on when he wakes up and definitely getting to bed earlier!
I thought last night I would perseve with it but after over an hour of him still crying I gave in. Have tried gripe water today as he's not had it since I started weaning so perhaps its wind (clutching at straws!) - he did let out a pretty impressive burp after his morning bottle which is unusual so we'll see!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
