maz, why don't u try putting her to bed much earlier? She's so hard to put down because she's overtired, so moving up the bedtime will help. It sounds like since she's not getting enough naps she's just gotten so tired cumulatively over the past weeks she doesn't know what to do with herself. I'll warn, it takes a few days for it to work as their bodies have to readjust. We're a bit radical here chez Aless...Finn was going down at half 7 but then started waking up loads, so i figured that was too late for his natural cycle, so the past 3 nights, i've put him down at 6! Last night was the best in weeks, so it seems to be working. Since u had been doing half 8, u might try 7 or even earlier! I was surprised he went down so easily at the new bedtime, which showed me that he actually was tired at that time and i hadn't realised.
Sorry for the novel.
(p.s. We also swaddle - soon stopping - and use a white noise machine.) top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Aless we still occasionally resort to swaddling now and Isla's nearly 21 weeks. I've read that 'they' don't recommend it but 'they' aren't here trying to calm a fractious (sp) overtired girly

Boogey if you don't mind Id like to see those sites? Could you PM me please
Thing is, no-one in my family and even my dads side has hair loss, so I don't think its an hereidatary thing (in my case) but my diet is terrible, I did those xenical pills and didn't take a multi vitamin with it, I make myself sick, my nails are all white marked, Im just generally not a healthy person so If the tests come back clear then I know what I have to do
Eat better
Take some vitamins
Drink water and ditch the diet coke
Stop binge eating.
There, I got a plan already! I have my hair in bunchies today and the woman in the shop asked for ID and I was like "Im 22 and you served me about 4 days ago?" she said "OH didn't recognise you, thought you were about 15" DURRRRRRRRRR0 -
cannot get him to keep water down at all phoned doc who said to phone HV, mine is on holiday so have to phone another surgery! she said if he is not dehydrated then not to worry too much??? he looks awful his eyes are sunken and dark and he has not even peed all day? have phoned OH to come home now.
Oh poor charlie El is the same she is still in the same nappy pants from last nite as they are not wet. I'm not too concerned yet, she is sleeping at the mo so I suppose that is doing her good. She has nothing left to be sick on and is just retching.
I blame Time Twisters to:eek:
BM thats a shame bout your hair. hope the docs can figure out whats causing it.

3, I go out when workmen are in the house. If I know who they are like. Just say you will only be 5mins

Caz, call the GP back, say he hasn't peed and is really lethargic. If they don't listen, call NHS 24.

He's 15 and a half wks and the in the book I have, "they" say to start weaning off the swaddle at around 3ish months, however some babies prefer to be swaddled longer and can benefit until even 6,7,8 months! He still gets fully swaddled every night, but I've just started leaving 1 arm out for naps (want to get night wakings properly sorted before removing the swaddle there as I don't want 2 battles on my hands!). I think it just helps keep him calm, though we do have to stop soon as he's getting too big & strong for the blanket!
csh, glad I'm not the only one! (I think SM also puts Jayden down really early) All babies have different biorhythms, just like humans and some just need to go to bed sooner. I had thought 7:30 was fine (and it was for a little while) but as he's gotten a wee bit older, clearly he needs an earlier bedtime! The 6pm is more an emergency measure so once he "catches up" on sleep deficit, it'll prolly naturally fall back to around 6:30 or so I imagine.
We're sitting in the garden in the sun. Cool, but nice. Need to buy a sunhat it looks like!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
