Hi all,
Evie had got into a lovely routine of going to bed about 9:30pm, then waking about 5, having a feed, then going back to sleep til about 7:30am. It'd been like that for about a month and was lovely.
But thats all gone over the last week or 2. It now takes me at least an hour to get her down, sometimes 2, even tho she just cries after bath cos she's tired. And she's been waking 2 or 3 times in the night at random times.
Last night was terrible tho - took her up at half 8, finally got her to sleep at 10. Then she woke up at 1 and ate but took a while to get back down. Then she woke at 3 and ate loads and no matter what i did she would not go back to sleep and kepy crying when i wasn't feeding her. FINALLY got her back to sleep at 5:40am after moving OH into spare room so she could sleep in our bed and after me then waking him up to have a good old cry to while she was crying in our room! Then thankfully she slept til 8:45am.
So now OH is at work, the weather's rubbish here, and both me and LO are sleep-deprived and miserable. And yet she's being her usual self and not having a nap. And she still wakes up if i try to put her down on the rare occasion she does sleep in day.
What can i do to get her to sleep?? She won't be rocked and she doesn't go on her own. And she doesn't keep her dummy in for long. The only way I can get her to sleep at the minute is by letting her suck on me for ages after she's finished eating and hope she drops off and stays asleep. Although she now seems to be becoming immune to that method! HELP!!!:j Very proud mummy to Evie Mae born 26/12/09 :jAims for 2010 - be a good mummy, lose (some) weight, clear (some) debts, be happy

How does pay for KIT days work? Or does it depend on company? I know my materniy info says I can do up to 10 but doesn't mention pay, and manager seemed to think there was no extra pay but didn't investigate:j Very proud mummy to Evie Mae born 26/12/09 :jAims for 2010 - be a good mummy, lose (some) weight, clear (some) debts, be happy

AFAIK it would be your normal rate of pay? It doesn't affect your SMP I know that much and its certainly not for no pay but other than that I don't know lol Our company 'doesn't do' KIT and its not worth the hassle for me.0 -
thanks wm.
that style is exactly what i was after.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
ermm, do you trust them? If you do and you think V will be ok then I would go for a lil walk, fresh air might do her some good...
If you had workmen in the house, would you go out?
I want to go for a walk, we're getting cabin fever and it's a gorgeous day. But I don't think they'll be finished til late afternoon. They're just finishing off the upstairs windows now, and have 4 bigger downstairs ones to do yet.
