Caz Hugs for your poorly lo's. It's horrible isn't it. :(
(And everyone elses poorly little ones)

MFD Bummer for your job but :j for getting extra time with Benjamin.

Excellent news Tara. Does that mean they're actually going to change how they do things in future?

We've just had our slip to book V in for the MMR. Hopefully she'll be ok to have it done next week when OH has got a week off. He can be the wicked one who takes her to get stabbed this time. :p

We're getting our new windows fitted today. I'm trapped in the living room with my poorly baby and the dog while there are various men banging about upstairs. I suppose we'll have to go and hide upstairs when they're doing the downstairs ones.
Oh well, at least it'll be nice and hot in the summer without drafty windows. :rotfl:

DH would be in heaven and likely bore yours to death!:rotfl: (actually, he works on Saturdays so we can do during the week as he usually takes Weds or Thurs off...) - he's also fascinated with Americans...LOL (hence me!)

I think we arrive on Saturday and leave on Tuesday. I have a massage booked for the Sunday morning and he has a sphereing session on the Monday morning so either afternoon would work for us.

I feel lucky, OH barely watches TV apart from football. If there's a series of something he likes ie Lost or The Wire, we watch it in chunks rather than an episode at a time. When we first moved in here the aerial didn't work so we had no TV for weeks and it was lovely! Now it seem's to be permanently on for background noise.

  • Hi Boogelly!! Thank u for mentioning Isla's wake ups during the night. Restores my faith that its totally normal, even though I know this really... but a combination of my 2 workmates bf babies sleeping through pretty much all the time, and random comments from others makes me start to doubt myself... even though I know thats stupid as hes our baby and not theirs. I saw this great article on kellymom which also made me feel better about it. xx

FBB, Molly still wakes once or twice a night for a feed - except last night, when she woke SEVEN times and wanted a small comfort feed each time
