Morning!! Well I managed to keep up during the night on DH IPhone, yet! Had a slightly improved nite here where t went to bed at 8 and fed at 1 and 4 and has just fed again now. is this still normal to be feeding this often, I am still breastfeeding mainly as not taking that much solids yet.

Hi aless, glad u had a better night too, have u also been up lots during the night? Thank u for the fb message btw xx

Glad to hear Toby is doing well! I know Boogelly has reported a similar feeding pattern for her Isla, so it sounds like Toby is just a hungry boy :). I wouldn't be surprised if he dropped one of those feeds soon, but then again I'm no expert and he might keep it until he's eating more.

csh, yeah I definitely want to negotiate for an upgrade when our contract is up - we've only been with them a year so not quite there yet. Hope those teeth come through soon!

scruffy, I hope El feels better. I hope ALL the poorly kidlets are better soon - sounds like there's definitely an icky bug going around!

Ooo, DH would love to meet your DH too, SS. :rotfl: I assume it's a private licence and not jumbo jets? Mine could seriously talk about airplanes for hours and hours...better than a trainspotter I suppose! :p

    gorgeous blue skies here.
going to go for a walk in a bit, when it warms up a little more. seems a waste of a day not to go out.

need to buy a parasol for the buggy. have looked on ebay and one that seems to be for our buggy brand is under £7 so will order it when i get paid at end of month.

It is a private licence and he is very much a plane bore :o Perhaps we should meet on a weekend day in the Hundred Acre Wood and they can entertain each other with boring stories :rotfl:

DH would be in heaven and likely bore yours to death!:rotfl: (actually, he works on Saturdays so we can do during the week as he usually takes Weds or Thurs off...) - he's also fascinated with Americans...LOL (hence me!)

Hmm just had an idea for an outing with Finn but I have tons of baking/cooking to do (and cleaning! :o) so not...might save it for Sunday so DH doesn't feel left out. Bit grey here right now, hopefully it burns off soon.

    Morning ladies,

lots of gentle hugs for poorly little ones.

Gisi - I'd go and do the hoovering upstairs to wake your OH seem's as he woke H in the night! Isla was up at 3, 5 and 7 for a feed so I feel your pain. I'm wiped out today!

Booboo - lovely to 'see' you again. Aless is right, Isla's still constantly feeding! Every babies different so I'm hoping when we start weaning she may cut down a little but I'm not expecting miracles. I loved the piccie of you and T on FB too.

Aless - I saw your ring sling piccies on FB too, Finn looks like he's loving it! And you look really well too.

Weezl was in my dream last night! I think it's because Isla had been playing with her FP cd player toy and it sings 'pop goes the weasel'

Jillie - that holiday sounds fab!

the sick bug has struck here too! Charlie cannot stop being sick and Erin has also been sick during the night!
hope all sick babies get better soon! xx
What's for you won't go past you
  • Hi all, hope everyone is ok but hugs and claps for all that need them.

Been busy and occasionally lurking to try to keep up but failing miserably!

Charlie had an eye test as HV wasn't sure if he had a swint developing by eye person said he was ok!! :T Charlies toilet training has gone a bit and he just can't be bothered but so far this morning he's gone to the toilet by himself twice without any problems or dramas!!

Reece still hasn't got any teeth and he's 11 months old today but he's furniture surfing at speed and will walk along pushing his walker but won't turn yet. So it won't be long and i'll have two walking!

Still not got a job but been very naughty and bought a new caravan which is so different from our last one. Just means we've got to sell the old one now so will be sad when she goes but needs must. We've now got two caravans and two cars parked across our driveway and front lawn - looks like gypsies have moved in! Got to sell the old caravan before our miserable old s0d across the road starts moaning.

Hi everyone, thank u for your replies about tobys sleeping. Im gonna try and go back through some of the posts and do a semi catch up

GISI Sorry to hear u had a rubbish night. Heres hoping for a good one for us all tonight :) Hope ur KIT day goes well. I am waiting to hear back from my boss about returning to work after maternity leave, arghhhhh!!

Ooh Jillie u reminded me about needing a parasol... must add that to my ever growing to-do list!!

Fitzio Ah thank u :) I know exactly what u mean about spending and going out. Me and my 2 work friends with babies the same age as toby have now got into the routine of lunching once a week at one of our houses which I think is saving us money rather than going out, as we just provide the lunch when they are at our own house. Trouble is even when I think I will just walk into town with the pram I end up spending on nice goodies to eat, oops!!

The cats and older two kids ruined the safety net and the safety padding on the trampoline so I am trying to find replacements for those too.

Ours net is wrecked too, let me know if you find one.

Were you looking for window tinters?
OH used these for his old boy car http://www.totaltinting.co.uk/ they're up in Bromborough.

    How's V now 3?

    Still poorly. :(
She's only had water since yesterday afternoon, and is mostly sleeping, or laying down looking sorry for herself. Poor baby. :(
I stayed downstairs with her last night so OH could sleep. She was up and down all night, and really hot, but calpol for her temperature came back up within 5 minutes with a ton of water.

OH is also obsessed with plane/car/bike/police programmes. He drives me insane. I keep trying to tell him that the Virgin is an absolute waste of money. I think it only has about five extra channels that the tele has on its freeview! But one of those channels is a 'bloke' one that OH has on permenantly!
