He was indeed told it was a 6 week wait, but it's more like 9 weeks now!! Actually more like 10! That's shocking really!

He has been good enough for weeks, he is just utterly bone idle and has no iniative to do anything off his own back.

Told him he'd be a fool to be taking lessons EVERY week until the test, waste of money? But no no no, he doesn't want to "forget" anything, I said well do a lesson every fortnight. Nope he says. Fine, waste your money. I don't care.

Had a letter from the NHS inviting me to a health promotion thing about services I've accessed... I spoke to a bunch of people, had my voice recorded and was video'd... Still not entirely sure what it was about either!!

Caitlyn's in a rotten mood... She was asleep until we got to the front door and then the gob!!!!! next door woke her up... How long until bedtime?

And my fresh chicken breast is slightly icy in the middle... Am I going to give us all salmonella if I bung it in the oven and cook it to death? (The cat tried to run off with a little chipolata... I'll give that one to Dave )

That sounds like what the farm I was looking at for meat supplies do, but their farm shop is in the countryside and at the end of a very long track, so they don't get passing trade.

Was writing as if I was opening the shop in our village, which is mainly owner occupied housing and working families.

Benefits - claimed Income Support when my ex left me until I found a job. I had no idea about benefits, so I went to the social security office and asked what I could claim. They said Income Support, so that is all I claimed. It was an incredible struggle as it wasn't really enough to live on.

It wasn't until I registed on here later that I realised I could have claimed all sorts of things like council tax benefit, mortgage interest, free school dinners, free milk as James was under 5 and so on. It's a shame the social security office people didn't tell me about all of that as it would have really helped. Luckily I got a job within 3 months though.

That's awful about the dead body story. Must have been awful for the airport staff when they realised.

Cheese - we all love it here, the stronger the better. Craig prefers cheese to dessert so he loves a cheeseboard for special occasions.

My doctors phoned and I'm going to see the ENT consultant on the 7th May. Hopefully they'll be able to find out what is causing all the snot and sinus pain.

Krystal I'd use the chicken. I have cooked chicken from frozen lots of times, usually cut into pieces and stir fried, and I've always been fine

Just had tea, sausage, cheesy mash, peas and green beans and Katie has asked to take the dog for a walk in the woods!

I think she has cabin fever after being stuck indoors for 2 days.

When we come back it's shower and bed, as we have an early start tomorrow

Edit: I got home from work having taken nothing out to defrost this morning and nuked some sausages in the microwave then cooked them to death in the oven.
