I used to use loads of pillows (and even used to take them with me to church) but after a few weeks I found that the odd feed without was managable (and eventually stopped using pillows at all).

DH is currently settling Katie and she has insisted he read her The Gruffalo in preparation for tomorrow.

We had a lovely walk - Katie was fascinated by the buds on the trees.

There were also primroses (I think) in flower but we couldn't get too close as they were down quite a steep bank.

Som as Katie got bigger I needed to use our Widgey Cushion less and less and once she was about 6 weeks old I didn't need it.

yeah, i have my dream genii pillow that i use religiously at home for feeding and feel like i can't cope without it, but it's amazing that when in public we do fine with no pillows at all!

Mmmm i really fancy some popcorn. Will do after masterchef australia finishes

som - before I forget, fairies made it to the post office this afternoon, only 2nd class fairies though so don't get excited for tomorrow's post! actually lower than 2nd class fairies as it's taken me a couple of weeks to get to the post office.

as well as making it to the post office, had a look for something to wear for Dad's funeral - very wierd, I just don't know where to start so have shelved that idea for another day.

am sure a while ago we had a chat about a London-ish meet but don't think we got as far as working out where is best. I have discovered in the last few months that using the overground is a doddle and a few of the tube stations have lifts so central London is not impossible and perhaps a picnic in one of the many parks somewhere?

I think away from home feeds always tend to be less frequent and shorter than in home feeds which makes it more manageable without stuffing...

Day 3 of our new bedtime routine... Feed downstairs and then upstairs to bed... We've come so far in the last 6 months!

Seth has goodnight milk, its the only formula he has now, the rest of his bottles are just cows milk. We ran out of formula a couple of weeks before his birthday and just gave him a bottle of cows to tide him over til we got to the shop, he nomnomnom'd his way through it and flatly refused to take normal formula after that, I had to give the box away! I like to give him the goodnight milk though, as its a different taste from cows so another way of distinguishing bedtime bottles from other ones, and its got the nutrition of formula in it, although he has a good diet I do worry that he might not get all he needs. I dont care if he doesnt need it any more, its my choice after all!

We didnt have sausages, but perhaps should have, as I did a grilled cajun chicken salad with potato skins, and OH deemed the chicken too succulent and wouldnt eat it??!! I however thought it was perfect, so he went hungry and will no doubt be eating crap later!
