hammy, u are far too generous!! I can't possibly take d's clothes while he's still wearing them. :o i already feel bad enough for the big box u sent before. I won't say no buy really wish i could repay the massive favor somehow...if i were local, i'd bake u cookies!!

    Oooohhh,shame about the cookies - I love 'em :D

It's no prob, honestly. We have been given way too many clothes for D so give me a few days and I will sort out a good mix of clothes :)

Seems like we all had sausage and mash for tea! We had it with baked beans.

Sorry not caught up at all - hope your meet goes well tomorrow :)

My right boob is well full - not fed her proper;y from it since 2 pm! We went to the childminders today - she had 9 kids! C was a lot better as I was there all the time and so was Josh. We all went to the park, and when we got back I was in the conservatory with C and a 10 month old, and a 5yo girl. As the 5yo left the room I followed her out (the room is quite safe) and went into the kitchen. C was quite happily playing for a good 10 mins before she shouted, then shut up and played with a doll!. She whinged a few minutes later and the CM went in, talked to them both and C was quiet again. All together she was in there for 20 mins completely without me. I kept popping my head round the corner but no so she could see me. CM says she's happy for us to go as often as we like - it gives her adult company too. So we're all going to a farm park tomorrow (missing baby group for it), should be good. I'm hoping that as C gets used to being at CMs with me there, eventually I'll be able to increase the time that I'm out the room, and then hopefully actually leave her - but I'm not counting any chickens yet!

good night milk has either rice or cereal in it, suitable from 6mths according to the pack, can only be used for 1 bottle a day. It basically just the same as the old days when you put porridge/rusk in the bottle :D

I suspected as much! Will give it a try I think. Currently I can't get Kieren to stay up past 7ish and he has never taken more than 6/7oz of a feed in his life but he has started waking up hungry at 5-5.30am every day. When hes fed hes still tired but as thats the time OH gets up for work hes too nosy to go back to sleep and is a little cranky pants until after porridge, another bottle and 1st nap at 8.30am!

I really want to try and get him back to half six/quarter to 7 waking bottle, porridge then bottle and nap at half nine. I've tried him with a bottle of hungry baby tonight and i'll see if that makes a difference

Feel a lil trapped ATM seem to have the bf undercontrol for now but no idea how am ever gonna manage it while we're out and about cos I use so many pillows to get comfy!
I used to use loads of pillows (and even used to take them with me to church) but after a few weeks I found that the odd feed without was managable (and eventually stopped using pillows at all).

Awww so :( you can't come tomorrow 3 and Mel.

DH is currently settling Katie and she has insisted he read her The Gruffalo in preparation for tomorrow.

We had a lovely walk - Katie was fascinated by the buds on the trees.

There were also primroses (I think) in flower but we couldn't get too close as they were down quite a steep bank.

Som as Katie got bigger I needed to use our Widgey Cushion less and less and once she was about 6 weeks old I didn't need it.

som - before I forget, fairies made it to the post office this afternoon, only 2nd class fairies though so don't get excited for tomorrow's post! actually lower than 2nd class fairies as it's taken me a couple of weeks to get to the post office.

as well as making it to the post office, had a look for something to wear for Dad's funeral - very wierd, I just don't know where to start so have shelved that idea for another day.

am sure a while ago we had a chat about a London-ish meet but don't think we got as far as working out where is best. I have discovered in the last few months that using the overground is a doddle and a few of the tube stations have lifts so central London is not impossible and perhaps a picnic in one of the many parks somewhere?
