Feel a lil trapped ATM seem to have the bf undercontrol for now but no idea how am ever gonna manage it while we're out and about cos I use so many pillows to get comfy!
Get ye to a Booby Club so you can practice public feeding in a friendly environment.
You soon get used to it.good night milk has either rice or cereal in it, suitable from 6mths according to the pack, can only be used for 1 bottle a day. It basically just the same as the old days when you put porridge/rusk in the bottle
Yay - I am a chav :T:T
csh - We use the Hipp Organic Goodnight Milk, Benjamin loves it - it is lovely and thick like a yoghurt drink. The C&G one is only slightly thicker than normal milk IMHO (and didn't seem to do anything for Benjamin's sleeping).
pinkpig - Yay - sounds like you had a good day. Hope tomorrow goes well too.
LOL - Benjamin was doing loads of walking this evening!! I knew if I moaned about him not being bothered on here he would change his ways (I am sure he reads and then does the opposite!).please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Can anyone recommend a cup/beaker with a straw?
Edit: Here you go: http://www.lunchboxesetc.co.uk/shopexd.asp?id=27 (Aimee can drink from a proper cup obviously... But these are great for in her lunch box...)Sorry Krystal - hope I didn't jinx it
She's always been pretty good at going down in the cot... Aimee used to wail until she was sick... I could never leave her the way I can with Caitlyn.... Just another way that every baby is different!!!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Sarah_Joanne wrote: »We started his routine about 4 or 5 weeks I think. Would have started sooner but was away in Scotland and just didn't quite get around to it but it goes like this:
7pm upstairs get bath ready then 7.05ish bath time
7.15 feed on the sofa in his room with lights off and just lamp on
7.50ish or whenever he finishes feeding, wind him then into bed still awake, kiss goodnight then lamp off and leave the room
10 minutes after that he's sleeping
He's currently waking between 12 and 1 ish, then about 3-4ish. He doesn't sem to have much at the last feed (so hoping he might drop it soon) and then he wakes for the day anywhere between 5.30am and 7am although I leave it as close to 7am as I can before getting him up. Today he was still happy in his cot at 7 but I got him up to feed him anyway as I want him to get used to feeding at 7. Even if I get up with him at 6 I still wait til 7 to feed him.
Sorry for long post but hope that helps!!!
Thank you very much it does help cos we were wondering when we should start a routine and when to do it?
So what do you do if A isnt awake when it comes to bath time?
I dont know if Elliot would last from 7.30ish till 12-1ish for a feed, but its worth a shot.

Wake him up!! If he's sleeping I will pick him up from wherever he is about 10 to 7 so he's disturbed and wakes up. Means I get 10 mins cuddles too but to be honest he's normally awake and a bit cranky by that time anyway.
If he doesn't go that long before needing a feed I just feed him sooner. He's only been waking at those times for a couple of weeks, but I just feed him whenever he wakes and needs it.0 -

We took D back to the docs this morning as his eczema was getting worse. We have been given steroidal/antibiotic cream and some antihistamine medicine - he is like a new baby - no scratching or itching and shed loads of smiling, giggling and rolling around :T
So glad David's eczema has eased. Steroid cream was a godsend for Alex. Still tries to scratch his head to death, mostly when tired - his brother has always done this when tired too. And if you take his vest and nappy off he really scratches were the nappies been fastened. I just have to keep slathering him in the various creams.I
Anyone use Goodnight milk? Is it the same to follow on milk as hungry baby is to stage 1 formula IYKWIM?
Answered by Sami and MFD. Alex would not entertain the HiPP one, but lurrves the C&G one. I think you get a Hipp satchet if you sign up to the Hipp website.
May be worth trying one of those, so you don't waste your money, like I did .e
