mfd you slack parent

I think there are some things that I would keep out of reach of the boys that I would be ok with if OH left within reach but other things I'm definitely NOT.
He left a stanley type knife on the (under counter sized) freezer once and I went mental over it, arguably a glass could get broken and cause similar injuries, I tend to keep glasses out of reach but if OH didn't I wouldn't get angry over that, just ask him to move it
my mum thinks it's terrible that I leave my razor on the side of the sink, Chris can get to that, he touched it once so I showed him how sharp it was by rubbing it on a shampoo bottle, he's not ever touched it since so *shrug*
Ed was just super cute, he woke up from sleeping across my lap (post feed) so I sat him up but he obviously wasn't ready to get up and flopped over and rooted about with his head trying to find something, anything soft to lay his head on.
Tara, I'm having lots of issues, not as bad as yours but I'm wondering if it's the java update I did yesterday, have you updated that? I use FF not IE0 -
Wii fit is good if you get chance to go on it - I haven't been on for aaaaages. I like the cow racing and electric air hockey on wii play though!Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked

PP, they came with my MP3 player. I can't figure out how the MP3 player works, but the headphones are awesome.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

GISI, Wii Fits are nice but don't expect to get a proper workout/lose weight with just the Wii Fit program. It's just farrrr too easy (obviously targeted at people who have never been to a gym, which is fine and all but it just doesn't cut it for those that are generally healthy to begin with). I've heard good things about EA Active or Wii Cardio (whatever it's called) but I haven't personally tried them.
I'm totally an old school nerdo and love Tae-Bo

we're back from the ILs, aka-playing-let's-pass-the-baby-all-day (poor kid). Project No More Chocolate After Easte has been slightly hampered by the gift of 2 Easter eggs, but maybe if I seriously hide them on top of the cupboards I can reward myself in June or something...top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

DH used to be, and still is, a bit thick when it comes to parenting. He just doesn't have to foresight to see potential hazards the way I do. Maybe it is a man thing? For example, I never allowed DS1 to stand ontop of the slide in our garden because it was concrete slabs and a not very steady slide. What happens? I'm at work and he is an hour late to collect me, not answering his phone. I end up and phoning his mum to see is he's there. She tells me he is at hospital with DS1 who fell off the slide and hurt his shoulder! They thought it was broken so he had an xray, turns out he just badly bruised it and he also had a concussion. You can only begin to imagine the conversation we had that night, not only for letting him stand on the slide but also not calling me when my son was taken to hospital when he managed to phone his bloody mum!
Now it's his habit of sitting Amber on the sofa, twice she has fallen under his care.0 -
quiet tonight. DH is playing silly video games, so I need entertainment!

My DH is snoozing, the boys are watching G-Force (9th time in 3 days), Amber is in bed and I wandered onto eBay again....0

I'm on ebay too, looking for a dining table and chairs. Found the exact one I want, 99p and no bids yet but 3 days to go, and a similar one already at £98! Am hoping there won't be many other bidders as it's pick up only.Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked
