Thanks BM, she's just nibbled a bit of dry tortilla wrap and gone back to sleep.

I've sent DH to the shop for some calpol as she is holding her head like she has a headache - I've checked the meningitis symptoms and she's being watched.

Do you have a charity like this near you, Em?

Em, don't get me started on charity shops! They wouldn't take my old sofa because it wasn't NEW and fireproofed or something. I'm sorry but if you have nowt to sit on, you won't really care that if you drop your fag on it, you might die - that's just common sense (though you might not want the sofa because it's puke green!)

    How's Seth and Scruffy?

MDW - Poor Katie. It is awful when they are poorly. It's probably just a bug but yes, best to keep a watchful eye. I did a 2am dash with Keira in a taxi because I phoned NHS 24 and they told me to get there straight away, as she did have some meningitus symptoms - sickness, drowsyness, wouldnt eat - then the rash appeared and I was like  Turned out she just had Parvo (slapped cheek) and the rash is actually the end of the virus - I thought she had just caught a bug before that.

    It's very scary!!

SM - If you can pay the 3 installments, then go for it, better than hand washing :D

Keira is still being a pirate! I was going to make a Sunday dinner but lidl didn't have ANY chicken at all left yesterday and they can do one if they think I'm buying a £9 bit of beef that looks green tinged. Ewwwww

bm i could do it in 2 to be honest and still be fine ...

    ewwwww green beef _pale_ x

I know, they think if they stick a 30% sticker on it someone might buy it - EWWWWWW

Well go for it SM. if it eases your life then why not! My washing machine is on all the time, and then more because I forget there is a load in and then it has to be rewashed - DONT GET A BEKO. "TIME SAVE" on mine is 2 hours long!!! Nightmare!

My internet is doing my head in, keeps cutting out and I have to rewrite posts, phoned talktalk but they won't talk to me because it doesn't come out my bank, but they will "incorrectly" call me by Idris' surname, and call me MRS at that.

Makes a change from being called "MRS STEP.......HEN!"

I hope its just a headache. This week I buried my second school friend, both lost to meningitis. Its just a awful disease :(

We have the british heart foundation furniture shop here, where we used to be able to get decent fridges and washing machines for £50 each, they then put their prices up to more than double and wonder why they cant shift them!

Em, don't get me started on charity shops! They wouldn't take my old sofa because it wasn't NEW and fireproofed or something. :rotfl: I think thats more to do with laws and regulations than anything, I think by law they have to have a certain level of proofing now, I might be wrong!

Scruffy's lampshade is off now  it rubbed sores in his neck so I took the plunge and took it off. His face seems pretty much OK now, but his fur is growing back a different colour, like more a blue point than chocolate point, and he looks rather stupid! He has a tuft of fluffyness in the middle of his head between his ears! Skanky mangey looking animal. I just took Scrappy out for a walk in the garden with his chihuahua harness and he loved it, and has been howling at the door to go back out again, stupid cat!
Seth is funny, have been almost having conversations with him, except he doesnt understand the difference between yes and no and just says them at random, but its funny hehe!

    Why is Keira a pirate?

I'm laughing at the image of you walking your cat on a chihuhua lead :rotfl: I was thinking about getting a lead to walk my cats, but I'd probably get seen smuggling them in and out the building and have to go through the rigormole of hiding them again.

Sounds like scruffy is quite psychadelic!

Lol yeah, it was the law but WHATEVER, I just wanted them to get them out my flat :rotfl:

Seth is clearly just like every other little person, indecisive!

Keira is a pirate because at the shop yesterday she saw a pirate set (eye patch, hook and sword) so now she keeps speaking like a pirate "YARR YOU SCALLYDOG WHERES ME TREASURE" "MUMMM YOU SCALLYWAG GET ME SOME CHOCOLATE BUTTER ON TOAST YARRRR" Makes me laugh though because when she says Pirate it's "Piyate!"

Ah caz, they will lynch you over on the pets board for posting that, YOU DISGUSTING HUMAN BEING YOU DONT DESERVE BREAD LET ALONE A CAT, HOW DARE YOU ETC ETC ETC

    Ignore them. Utterly bonkers!!!
