For the last year Elijah has really loved my beard first thing in the morning when I get him up, he just likes to be carried around while he fondles it! And at random other times if he gets near my face he nearly always gently strokes it (while cackling).

Very true but I think the two main concerns would be a) is he "being a parent" or is he being selfish and avoiding some hassle, and b) inconsistency between mummy and daddy parenting styles could be quite a pain, no? It's fine to have different opinions but when both raising the same child you should probably agree about how your united front will handle various situations like bad sleeping.

But anyway! SS has made up with OH and all is well in the state of Germany.

We had a nice time yesterday on Hampstead Heath, against all odds it didn't actually rain on us although it was increeeedibly muddy. Elijah's first experience really coming home all covered in mud. Will post some pics later if FB's photo uploader ever starts working.
Last night he was tottering around at the end of his endurance - I said "awww are you very knackered little one?". He stopped what he was doing and turned to face me and said "Nack Err. Nack Errd." then cuddled me

This morning OH and E went to an Easter Sunday church service that was apparently very nice and also child-friendly, while I ironed 7 shirts and rearranged my closet and such. Nad luck to those who were planning to go and couldn't make it, and get well soon for the variously unwell littlies

Now I have a shoulder of lamb slow-roasting in the oven and I am trying to upload some pictures from yesterday.

Becles, Sami is absolutely right and you are quite amazing. Anyone who is not impressed by the amount of different things you are dealing with every single day is an idiot, and you can feel superior to them on that basis.

roast lamb sounds good! we are having lasagne as i forgot to take the roast out last night lol! oh well kids are off so they will not realise

OMG I was asleep in bed till 12pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could have totally slept longer though.

OH kindly (although I have done this for him loads) took elliot downstairs at 8am when he woke to let me sleep (although he was going to leave him in the room with me cos he wanted to plant some flowers, and I was like NO if you leave him here he will prob wake in like half an hour and bang goes my lay in lol)

LOL OMG Stu was feeding elliot and he just farted with a baltent follow through of poo lol so Stu has took him upstairs to get changed and as he was cleaning his bum he cracked off a massive fart in his face, and now he's just shouted down to say that as he was cleaning his bum some more with wipes he's continued having a poo LOL OMG sorry I just think thats hialrious lol
