we will become parents in april where i believe my partner will step back down to reality lol!
anyway for a good buggie ive been looking at the quinny zappas there compact and light weight , great mobility specially if u live in london like myself the only problem i have found is that they dont have baskets where u can just dump all your bits in!!!
i am planning to breats feed to start of with and extract into the bottle after the first 2 weeks. do you freeze or just store it in the fridge ?
I'd suggest buying nappies before bubs is born otherwise you'll be in for a messy time :rotfl:
The zapp is OK as a buggy but not suitable from birth unless used with the car seat. Unfortunately you can only keep babies in car seats for periods of no longer than 1 1/2 hours. Once bubs is too old for the car seat and it has to go in the pushchair you'll have the problem that the seat doesn't recline and therefore isn't very comfortable. You can buy baskets for it on Ebay but they aren't official quinny ones.
Have you considered a micrallite (pushchair not plane :rotfl: )? You can get them with a carry cot but they still fold up fairly small and are lightweight.0 -

Just adding myself to the birth list. Home today after elective c section at 5pm on Monday, all pretty traumatic, but we're both doing fine now and she is such a little treasure. Good as gold, just about to give her a feed before we go off to bed at home for the first time.0 -

Aww, congrats!! :T I hope it wasn't too traumatic and that you are both doing ok.

Congratulations!! amazed you have time to post.
Can you add me to the list please! We are expecting our second on 16 March 2007, we already have a little girl who's just turned 2.
Am doing ok, was extremely sick for first 16 weeks but it has passed and now i am blooming.
Been for scan today and baby is fine, we didn't want to know the sex but i think i definately saw something!
So far the 'ring and string' says its a boy, and its worked for me on all my friends so far, so we'll have to wait and see!!0 -

Personally i wouldn't stock up on too many of the same brand of nappies a range might be better as i stocked up with loads of huggies only to find that she leaks in them and is better in pampers. So had to donate huggies to SIL
Congratulations purplepatch0 -
congratulations purplepatch!!!!!!
sorry to hear it was traumatic but glad all is ok now!!

Has anyone else found their maternetity exemption certificate for prescriptions doesn't run for a full year from the due date? My due date when I sent off was 29th April 2007 but exemption certificate only runs until 13th April 2008.0
