I am going in tomorrow morning to be induced. I am really excited but also nervous as have not been induced with previous two pregnancies and know it can make them longer and more painful.

Have had a "show" this morning and when they did a sweep on Tuesday said I was already 2-3cm's dilated.

Probably will not be logging on for a while so wanted to share my news.

Congrats to everyone who has recently had their babies as well.:D :j

May i come and join you in here?! Am 14 weeks pregnant with what i thought was going to be our 3rd and final child.....found out last week at 1st scan however that its non identical twins! (and there was me just thinking that the excessive vomiting and tiredness was because maybe it was gonna be a girl this time!)

Offically due nov 7th, but may well arrive earlier (as will be c.section due to past pregnancy history!).

Becky - Glad to hear that your scan went well and you got the reassurance you needed, so quickly.

banana1975 - I was induced last time round, and after my contractions started (3rd thingie) things really progressed and we had DS in 3 hours.

clarew - WoW, :eek: and again for the other babe WoW :eek: . That is fantastic news. I hope that you are feeling better now. I am due day after you, but know I am having just the one !! :cool: :cool:

My little girl is 8 weeks old and has really noisy cracking knee joints, both the doc and the health visitor have said this can happen in new babies but not to worry. It doesn't seem to bother my daughter but my husband and I are concerned as it does not seem to be going away and sounds so awful we can't help but think it isn't good long term.

Does anyone else have this problem or any advice??

I had a MW appointment today to check my BP. It was a little high at week 10 but has been exactly the same at week 15 and today at week 20 so hopefully it won't be a problem. She also checked the baby's heartbeat (I didn't mention that a different MW had checked last week at my antenatal class ). Apparently my placenta is currently at the front which is the reason why I haven't felt the babe yet! Trust me! :rolleyes: I may have to wait a few more weeks yet :eek:

Septemberbaby - My sister is 21 weeks pregnant & the placenta is at the front. She has been suffering quiet bad stomach pains which she had to keep going back to the GP/Midwife about. It was then that they found the placenta at the front.
She's doing just fine,she has a huge bump & the baby is kicking her in the ribs lots!
I went to her scan yesterday & she's having another girl! how exciting! (this is good as she already has a daughter of 3 1/2,who insist's it has to be a girl as she doesnt like boys!):rotfl:

forgot to say that the placenta's quiet low so she's got to go back at 36wks for another scan. Other than that everythings going well!
