Hi ladies, delighted to be able to join this club - I just tested postive this week! Baby will be due early April. I am so excited and finding it very difficult to keep it quiet (last preg was a surprise and I was 10wks before I realised so not used to this first bit!).
I'm 32 with DS aged 2yrs 8 mnths. My stomach feels a little bloated but I am probably just imagining this!Me debt free thanks to MSE :T0 -

Hi, I'd like to join too please!
I'm 34 and expecting our first baby in March next year. We weren't exactly planning it but then again we weren't exactly going out of our way to avoid it either...thought this would be a good approach to getting pregnant - less pressure. Needless to say, both my DH and I are very pleased and really hoping and praying it will all go well.
Anyway, I'm now 9 weeks in and feeling tired and queasy. Even so, it still doesn't seem very real yet and when listening to other women talk about their kids/babies etc it still seems like an alien world. Guess it won't stay like that for much longer!
Really feel for everyone much further on having to cope with the heat . And I thought I was suffering!
All the best everyone.

I have had the results back and the main three are back and are clear. They also know the sex of my baby but as my husband doesn't want to know then I can't. But to be honest I just care at all.
Thank you all for your fantastic messages of support, they have meant more than any of you will ever know.
oobxxxxxxxxxxOh....I'm not going to lie to you......At the end of the day, when alls said and done......do you know what I mean.........TIDY0 -
ExcellentThe ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.0

Hi ooobedoo,
I've been following this thead for the last few days, and have been thinking of you today. I'm so glad your results have come through and are all ok. Well done, and congratulations on the forthcoming birth of little ooobedoo! :j"He who asks questions cannot avoid the answers"0 -
Me again, with a slightly off topic question... Do you have to get particular travel insurance when 11 weeks pregnant? I've got a girly weekend abroad coming up (planned WAY before the whole pregnancy thing) and don't know whether I can get travel insurance as I normally would, or whether it's something I have to specifically declare.
Wondered if anyone could advise??
(I have tried posting this question in the travel insurance forum area, but no-one's replied to me as yet)
