At least the end is in sight for you, when i saw the midwife on tuesday her head isnt engaged anymore so they have said they wont induce meShe did say theres a chance she could move back down during labour but its not very likely
Got to hang on and go back and see the midwife tuesday and see what happens then if she hasnt made an appearance
Oh noThese girls are far too comfy where they are
Hopefully you'll get some good news on Tuesday - maybe a sweep at least which may start something off if nothings happened before then
Evies coming out tomorrow if they have room on labour ward and if I call and they say they are busy I am gonna be very dissapointed.
Hopefully well get there on our own asap :j

hello all,
can i join?
i'm 37 1/2 weeks with my second son, and desperate to evict him. i cannot stand this heat any longer - for the past two mornings i've been waking up at 4 am with mild contractions and then they fizzle out by 10am. so now i'm trying to decided what to do for the rest of the day - have just managed to book a last minute float (for anyone who hasn't tried it it is FANTASTIC - you can finally get to feel weightless)
who mentioned the hospitals with aircon - where is it? and is it too late for me to change hospitals? mine - very new and modern - still thinks that babies might be badly affected by the slightest breeze, and close all the windows and turn the heating up...half my hospital bag is filled with portable fans and batteries. even thinking about smuggling in thermoses filled with ice cubes for the birthing pool.
off to wee for the the 50th time today then lie in a tank of salt water!!!!!:D
love

Just Caught Up With This Thread I Have 3 Kids 5 2 And 7 Months My Middle Child Showed Up 1 In 210 Risk Of Downs And As I Was Only 25 It Should Have Been Some Thing Like 1 In 2500 I Didnt Opt For Amnio As At Our Local Hospital The Miscarriage Risk Was 1 In 100 And I Had Miscarried Before So I Decided To Wait.the Waiting Was Awful I Went From Being Certain She Had It To Convinced That She Hadnt For The Next 5 1/2 Months Until She Arrived 2 Weks Late And Perfect.
I Wouldnt Have Terminated The Pregnancy If She Had Been Downs But I Feel That Knowing Earlier Would Have Either Stopped Me Worrying Or Given Me Time To Prepare And Adjust, Knowledge Is Power And All That.
I Really Am Wishing You The Best Of Luck And Strength For Tomorrow Big Hugs

Hi, can I join you. I'm 32, and 12 weeks 3days pregnant, due feb 5th. I had a mc in may and got pregnant again immediately, which everyone seems to tell me I shouldn't have done, so have been worried this wont last. But now I'm past the 12 weeek mark, and have got a good strong heartbeat. I decided to splash out on my own doppler, bought a cheaper one on ebay, and its brilliant, I def recomend it to anyone who's worrying. I got a heartbeat 1st time I tried at 12 weeks, doc found one at 11 +3. Its an angelsounds one if anyones interested.
Hope everyones coping with the heat, I thought I'd mention that if your trying to cool down its supposed to work better if you use lukewarm water, as realy cold water makes your veins contract, or something like that, whereas warm water slightly raises the skin temp and draws the blood to the surface and evapoates the water, which is supposed to cool you down quicker. If that makes sense! Anyway take care,

I don't yet know what way we will go as it was explained to us yesterday that if we did want to terminate the pregnancy then I would have a tablet and then have to delivery the baby and I find that a horrific thought. I will let you know either way tomorrow.Oh....I'm not going to lie to you......At the end of the day, when alls said and done......do you know what I mean.........TIDY0

I know you probably don't think its true, but things never really work out as badly as we fear. All four of my pregnancies were blighted with health problems and scares (and I had more amnios than I care to remember) yet tonight my kids are running around the garden driving me mad with their noise! Good luck for tomorrow and in the months ahead - it'll be fine.0

Every good wish for a good result tomorrow. My thoughts are with you and your family.0
