Hi,
I chose to have a termination at 20 weeks when I learned my baby had Downs and a serious heart condition. It was a terrible decision to have to make and I really respect all of you who chose not to have amnio's etc.
At the time having to go through labour was hard but now I'm glad I did, I was able to see my daughter and I have a photo of her, the hospital also arranged a funeral for her. I think this has helped me to make my peace with my decision.
I really hope everything works out for you, but please remember you are not alone, the hospital will be able to give you lots of support and counselling whatever you choose.
Hugs again

Hi,
I just wondered whether anyone else experienced bloating really early on in their pregnancy? I'm only about 6 weeks gone, but suddenly feel really bloated - like I've eaten too much. I don't remember this from my previous pregnancies, and in fact didn't get bigger for at least 4 months - but already my trousers feel tight.
Quite happy really if it is a symptom cos despite 3 positive tests I don't really believe that I'm pregnant, keep convincing myself that it must be something else!!
Thanks for any info. I hate the first three months - it's the not knowing what's going on and knowing there's a high risk of miscarriage. I'm much happier when I can "feel" a baby inside me!

I'd really like to join - just waiting to see if my P arrives next week - this will be our first month trying. I've got endometriosis though so not holding out much hope that it will happen straight away. I'm so desperate to get pg though, 2 of my close friends are around the 12 and 16 week mark at the moment and would love to join them.
Congratulations to everyone else who is newly pg or about to have one.0 -
Well mjk....bean-ette gave me a right seeing to this morning.
I'm 22 weeks this weekend, and I'm 29. The little one already has a name sorted out, but I'm refusing to use it until I'm holding it in my arms. Had what should be our last scan a few days ago where the sex (female) was confirmed and we watched it wriggle around. Seeing the heart pumping away was amazing.
Anyway, must go.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Your not the only one! As I have been taking the pregnacare stuff, its also making me a bit constipated (lovely conversation here!) and water retention!
That coupled with sickness is making me feel horrible. But today is much better! No scorching heat but as I feel lethargic I am going off for a long walk to Tescos (I need the exercise!) and hopefully that will make me feel a bit better.
Bless my 12yo - she doesn't know yet, but has been really helpful knowing I am not well!
Got my baby list finalsed (only 8 weeks ish!) and need to do this early as I need a long time to save up - wont be buying anything for a long time either, but it makes me feel better that I have a plan of action sorted.
Also spent the last few days re-organising the house. We only have 2 bedrooms, with 6 people so far (and baby on the way!) so a bit of juggling needed. Completed a council re-housing form - but for a 4 bed place, we are looking at a 7 year wait! The elder 2 will have moved out buy then. :rotfl:0 -
