Oooo please try not to be induced if you can help it - won't go into that one though - Just seen this thread and remembered something that i saw a few weeks ago.

Anyway i saw these washable maternity pads called Moon Mammas which come in different sizes right up to a huge one which is suitable for after birth but also the last few weeks when some of you may have leaking problems - so might be good for those who have a fear of their waters breaking in the middle of boots ;-). They look quite expensive at first glance and might not be everyones cup of tea but you wear them and then can rinse them out then stick them in the washer and then reuse them over and over again. I think that you would need quite a few but overall i think that they would save some people money.

I know that i bled for about 6 weeks with my firstborn and so for me they would have worked out loads and loads cheaper - you can buy a little bag with them too, looks like a large pencil case, so that you can go out with them and change whilst you are out with no problem - a real economy if you are planning on having a few children because you could just put them away and bring them out again next pregnancy.

I read a few reviews on them too and apparently they are very comfortable - probably better if you have had to have stitches and very good at preventing leaks. I knowe that i spent a fortune on disposable pads, they were uncomfortable, left me feeling soggy and they leaked badly.

Just thought i'd pass it on.
