Hi bumps and mums.
I still had a voucher for the parenting club for a half price nappy wrapper. They normally cost £30. However, they are now for half price in the shop (£14.99). I used my voucher and paid with points. I was very pleased to see that the voucher took of £15 so Boots paid me 1 point for taking the nappy wrapper away!! Must say, think the cashier didn't notice because I bought quite a few other things. You might have to ask for the nappy wrapper because a lot of the babystuff has been moved for the christmas stuff, but they tend to have the item in their storage!

Mothercare have the Tommee Tippee nappy wrapping for £14.99 rather than £29.99 too, looks like its a popular offer!

I have read that there is going to be a new version nappy wrapper so they might try to get rid of these. The cartridges for the new ones apparently fit in these so that's fine. In my native country they have an old for new scheme in the maternity shops for the very old (I think it was a beige) version.

Hi everyone! I'm Lucy, wife to Si and mum to Daisy (17months). Our next little bundle of joy is due January 14th, we're having another girl (juuuust got the clothes out of the loft today!) and this will probably be our last....

I'm 31years old and am obsessed with not getting into a mess with money as I'm a stay at home mum now and hope to stay that way til the youngest is around 3 years old. So plenty of cost cutting round here as we're not rich by any means, despite what people seem to think about stay at home mums!!!! Crackers innit.

I'm trying my best to get into cooking stuff from scratch and shopping more efficiently, but seem to end up spending more. Plus I'm tired out as Daisy's a lively lass, so Si's been doing most of the cooking (which also includes very regular shopping trips to whichever supermarket he's nearest to on the way home, which tots up.. :eek: )

Hope everyone else is enjoying their pregnancies (I don't think I would ever enjoy it, I just can't wait til it's all done, lol!) and managing to beat the idea that kids cost thousands! (Hooray Freecycle, that's what I say)

Just in case anyone's not seen it, there's a good post about the Toys R Us club.

We'd decided on a particular travel system the other weekend and it was cheapest at Toys R Us anyway. Got there (already armed with a £5 off voucher from the local paper) and the sales assistant said if we joined the club (pardon the pun!) there was another voucher in that catalogue for £10 off travel systems. There's also a £10 off cots voucher amongst others so definitely worth joining if you're getting your cot from Toys R Us anyway

OLO IS HERE!!!!

Baby Jack William came Friday at 6.10pm weighing 7lb 1oz, its a long story but he came quickly only took 4 hours of established labour.

We are so delighted with him. Came out of hospital on Monday teatime and have been sleep deprived since he was born.

Lots to say but not enough time, he's due a feed any mo. We have no life apart from him now, we didn't even get dressed yesterday.

I won't be online much at all, so sorry for unreplied posts.

Just wanted to let you all know.

Bailey and Ian and of course now little Jack.
