Hi GAP, im glad ive inspired you :T! Let me know how you get on wont you!
Do you have a diary btw? was looking yesterday but couldnt find one for you xMummytogirls x0 -
No mummy I don't have one. I have been stumbling along stalking everyone else's! When I had my LBM I had never even heard of this site
I took matters into my own hands and have been dealing with it on my own since then. I like just coming along now and then and putting my opinion (not always the right opinion apparently!) in here and there. I much prefer reading others. I have 26 months left to pay off my loan then I am going to work on the mortgage. Things are good right now

xx
Girlatplay - Glad I make you laughMy DH keeps threatening to trip the downstairs lights before we go to bed on a night just so that the kids can't turn them on in the morning. I wonder if they might turn lights off if I deducted 10p for each light from their pocket money?
Hi Mummytogirls
I wonder if I can do that with Eon? Will have to investigate, add it to my to do list. I can't wait for the summer either, the winter just drags past xx0 -
Morning diary,
GAP, well done on what you have achieved so far :T. Im glad things are good for you at the mo, thats always nice to hear.
Choogirl, not sure about EON. Are you registered online with them? Mine tariff with scottish power requires me to do my own meter readings and I save something like £5 a year! I always did them anyway so might aswell save something!
Well I went off to farmfoods and aldi last night. Spent £45 in farmfoods and got absolutely loads, incl milk and bread. The milk was 2 for £1.60 what a bargain! Then I popped next door to Aldi for some fruit, veg and eggs and only spent £8.
First time I went to Aldi I wasnt too struck on it, but it wasnt too bad last night. Think I might do a weekly shop there one week and see how cheap it is.
I absolutely love farmfoods and now my freezer is stocked up with emergency food. I try cook from scratch but like to have things in just incase. Ive meal planned right up to next Friday aswell.
Put £30 in the car too, so hopefully that will last until payday next Friday. Wont need to spend any money next week as I will go to work with DH in the morning and he will pick me up.
Today im going to get my house looking ship shape again plus ive got a basket of ironing with my name on it. Might put toy story on for the kids this afternoon and get it done.
Will do my bathrooms tomorrow then the house will look nice over the weekend like it did last weekend!
Right best get on. First job... sort out the washing

Hi GAP, im not sure how far youve got with flicking through my diary but I wasnt completely honest with my DH, infact he knew nothing about the debt until just before Christmas. He sold his motorbike which has helped hugely towards making a dent. Ive got a loan thats eating up all our money at the mo but thats due to be end in January I think, so by next January we will have paid off over another £5k!!
I love seeing the figure go down each month, but feel myself wishing the months away! Its payday next week cant wait as I know I can update my figures!
Well ive got my housework and ironing done. Just chilling with a cuppa now before I go start tea. Ive some chicken goujons in the freezer that need using so might make a random meal with those noodles and corn on the cob! The kids agree so think thats it!!
Ive got a few bits that need ebaying. Hopefully they will sell and im going to buy the kids a few bits for when we go away in April out of that money. Il have £45 in my secret purse when the pureprofile money hits the bank so im getting there. I love being this organised!!
Anyway, hope everyones ok xMummytogirls x0 -
((((hugs)))) (I was looking for a smilley with a hug in it but the only one looked a bit dodgy!!) I haven't managed to read all the way through your diary yet but I'm getting there. I tend to read the first 3 pages of diaries then pick random pages after that to get updates. Funny, I did read one post of yours that said something about "now that DH knows". It didn't make sense at the time but it does now!! My DD is at her friend's house for tea and I have to pick her up at 7 so I am off to read the rest of your diary whilst I have half an hour to myself!
I bet you are so glad it is all out in the open now. Honesty really is the best policy :A (apart from the secret purse of course) x

Well I read from 6.15-6.45 then picked DD up then read from 7.30-9pm and I only got to page 14! I'm not a slow reader. DD watched tv beside me. The only work I have done this morning (I am at work!) is read the rest of your diary!!! Fully caught up now.
I was in tears at your confession to DH. Although you should have told told him long, long before that, well done for holding it together for so long. At least you have him on side now. Once in a while he probably will make you feel guilty about it but that is just him letting off steam and it will work its self out in the end.
Choogirl my DD is 10 and she has been making her own breakfast for about the past 3 years. I am TERRIBLE in the mornings. That is a personal (non-monetary) issue I am trying to work on.
Right, off to do some actual work now!! xxMortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Afternoon diary,
Hi GAP, thanks for catching up with the rest of my diary, im also glad I havent bored you to tears ha!! Oh re the DH business, I know I know but there was always something that cropped up making it harder to tell him. I cant tell you how different I feel now he knows. I was always so anxious trying to get to the post and what not. Then I always had my phone on silent incase the phone calls started it was truely awful. Thankfully DH was so understanding and its not like ive got a wardrobe full of designer clothes or anything. I was trying to keep my head above water for too long. But heyho onwards and upwards now.
Oh DH knows about the secret purse! Maybe it should be called the 'not so secret' purse ha! Its just a purse I hide in my drawer with spare money for holidays and treats in. Out of sight out of mind and all that .
Well what to report.. been to playgroup with DD so spent £2 on that. Got an insurance quote through quidco which looks good so will run it through with DH tonight and decide what we want to do. Current ins runs out in March so weve got a bit of time to decide.
Going to see some friends over the weekend but other than that weve nothing planned, really looking forward to chilling out a bit really im shattered today.
Jacket potatoes for tea, yum!
Oh just checked bank account and pureprofile money has gone in. So ive transferred it straight out and then will draw it out and hide it in secret purse!
Hope everyones ok, Happy Friday everyonex

Morning diary, thought id best show my face at some point over the weekend
!
Woke up to snow yesterday , luckily its more or less all gone now. Cant stand the stuff so I didnt leave the house yesterday.
Made chicken goujons for tea and also made a vege chilli with some leftover veg in the fridge. Thats now in the freezer!
Sausage and mash for tea tonight. My fridge is looking a bit empty now but im really hoping to last until Friday for the shopping as thats when I get paid and my official £220 budget starts.
Only thing I may need is some milk mid week.
Today need to get the house back into some kind of order. DD got this jigsaw for her birthday and im sick to death of her throwing it round the living room and not actually bothering with it. Its only a cheapy one so I think its going in the bin!
Need to do some ebaying too. Got a few outfits of the kids to put on that they hardly wore last year. Then I will use the proceeds to buy them new things.
Ive got a basket of washing all ready to go in and then get that out on the radiators at tea time. No rush though as its mainly uniform and DD is off next week with it being half term.
Think thats all from me anyway. Catch up soon xMummytogirls x0
