Morning diary,
Hi Chev, the surveys have been very slow at the mo for me!! Its always when im planning to save for something using that money aswell!
Well diary not much to report. It is a spend day as I was on the bus and had to pay DD's snack money to school.
Feeling a pee'd off at work today cos I have been basically told none of the jobs here are suitable for me so I just feel like sticking 2 fingers up and saying f*** you! But it will be paying my wage til the end of March and my redundancy so I need to keep calm!!
On a positive note I have got another interview in a few weeks time. Not getting my hopes up but it sounds so perfect. Going to do some more job searching later on too.
Think thats about it for me. Catch up soon xMummytogirls x0 -
Hi MTG
I have just found your diary today and I hope you don't mind me sticking my nose in. I haven't read your whole diary yet (I mostly only get a chance to be on this site when I am at work) but I am catching up with bits and pieces as I go along.
I looked at your survey list and I wondered if you had tried Global Test Market? I do them and Onepoll and I find that GTM gets to the payout limit much faster. I have been paid by them before and I am waiting to receive my most recent cheque. Just a thought.
Good luck with the job searching.

Ramble away mummy! That is why I liked your diary, for your ramblings :rotfl: I am also finding it quite inspirational since I too am about 100 years away from being completely debt free (that is the mortgage!)

Hi diary, just popping in with my latest ramblings hehe!!
Today is NSD6 woohoo, im getting there again with these.
Tomorrow will be a spend day as im going to go along to farmfoods with the vouchers they kindly sent through my door. £2.50 off a £25 shop so il try get everything I possibly can in there. Then il pop to Aldi for fruit and veg which is next door.
Done my meter readings and weve just £25 exactly in the past week. Not bad at all I dont think. Cant wait til it gets lighter and warmer hence no lights on as early and no heating on :j.
Oh it was snowing here this morning, that can stay well clear cant be doing with that!!
Right catch up soon x x xMummytogirls x0 -
Hello Mummytogirls :hello:
Sorry I haven't popped by this week, I have become really bad at catching up! I do read them though!
Have you got a special gadget on your meter or are you really clever and work out how much its cost you?
My 2 kids drive me mad with the lights, I go downstairs on a morning and every single light is on and theres at least 2 tvs talking away to themselves. Even in the summer DD will turn a light on
I can't wait for them to get their own houses, I'm going to go round turning all the lights on and leaving the tvs on :rotfl:
Boo to snow, I was hoping that was it for this year xxx0 -
Hi Choogirl, thanks for popping in! Ive found it hard to catch up recently so just had a quick pop round everyones diaries!
Re the meter readings im with scottish power and enter them online and it works them out for me. Ive got into doing it once a week and it helps me not use the tumble dryer and what not!
:rotfl: to you not being able to wait til the kids move out so you can go round leaving everything on! My DH is just as bad hes a right one for leaving the bathroom light on! Roll on the summer eh, so much to look forward to! x xMummytogirls x0 -

Hi mummy
You have inspired me with your weekly readings to scottish power and as of yesterday, I intend to do that too. Will be interesting!
Choo I laughed at your post. It is the same in my house. My daughter turns on the lights, the tv and the computer and my boyfriend (who doesn't live with us) moans his face off about the cost of gas and electricity in his house then leaves stuff on in my house
