Hi Mummy
I'm with you on the 'less snacking = more dinner eaten'. Our DS3 is terrible for not eating his dinner (never had a problem with the other 2!!), he doesn't like chips, pizza, fish fingers or anthing simple, his favourite is a chicken dinner which is great but not when I get in at 6 and he goes to bed at 7.30pm.
Good news on your ebay stuff, mine is still ticking along and finishes this sunday.
Right I'm off to sort through some more stuff for carboot sale that we are doing in a few weeks time. xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Afternoon Diary,
Just having my lunch at work so having a quick catch up.
Today should be NSD4 :j. Im having chicken cuppa soup and fruit for my lunch. Pie, leftover mash and peas for tea. DH can have fish fingers or something! The girls will be fed at my mums house.
I cant believe I didnt think of the no snacking sooner Alice. I never had a problem with DD1 either but hopefully this will work and we can live happily without getting stressed over kids not eating!! Plus im thinking of the MSE benefit too :money:!
Well ive been entering the pepsi comp today, only found out about it last night. Fingers crossed I can win, a couple of MSE'ers have already won, how nice would that be.
Nothing much other to report. Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hello Diary,
Just popping in with a few bits of info.
My tea was absolutely delicious! I bought a pie reduced to 95p in the coop ages ago, cut into pieces and froze. Had that with mash, peas and gravy and now im totally stuffed!
One of the jobs id applied for I got a letter to say id not been successful. Thought it was odd as usually you dont get a letter nowadays you just assume youve not been successful!
Just online looking for a job now but I seem to be on the same sites all the time, looking at the same jobs.
Ive also made a quiche for tomorrows tea so a productive evening. Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Woohoo!! Just found a home insurance quote online saving me £8 a month and also £50 cashback!!
My current company were going to up my payment by £3 a month, sod that weve not made any claims or anything!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hello Diary,
Just popping for a quick catch up! Busy evening, need to get sorted as im going away for a friends birthday tomorrow. We are staying at someones house so will be relatively cheap. Also meal is being paid for so just need to put in for the present and also petrol and drinks. Wanting to spend as little as possible so that I can spend more on my food shopping next week :rotfl:. Currently have £20 shopping money but that should stretch to what we need.
Payday in under 2 weeks :j.
Well ive got some exciting samples coming from a company, cant say owt incase I get into trouble or something!
Today I popped into town and wondered around aimlessly looking for a pressie for a party DD1 has got tomorrow. Spent 88p on 2 cards in the card factory and then ended up finding a right bargain in Wilkinsons! A paint your own money box which looks more than £3.50. I dont want to sound tight but I dont even know who this child is so its the cheaper the better for me.
Have a lovely weekend everyone xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi mummy hope you had a good night out. What a bargain the money box was, i don't think you are being tight at all, a great idea at a great price.
Good news in the home insurance. We need to shop around for our dogs insurance the renewal quote we have just had is £45 more expensive this year that last but I do get double nectar points which also works with the double nectar points vouchers.
Bad news you didn't get the job but at least they did reply. My DS1 has applied to loads of part time jobs and only ever had one reply....that was Morr1sons. Hopefully something better will come your way. xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Afternoon diary,
Jusy having a quick round up before I go pick DD up.
Had a lovely weekend away, didnt spend too much which was good.
Today I went straight to the farmshop after dropping DD off and spent £3.75 on sausages, eggs and potatoes. Then went to pick my mum up and take her to the opticians. Whilst she was in there me and DD2 had a walk from the range and bought another bargain pressie for a party they have this Saturday! I am going to put together a little baking set for the girl, bought a bright coloured kids mixing bowl, cookie cutters and spatula and spoon for £3! Im going to tip it all in the bowl and just put in a nice gift bag I have already. Will look more than £3 which im pleased with.
Then in Mr M's with mum and spent another £12 in there on bits we need for the week. My mum spent £63 and she didnt really get much at all!
Ive brought mums ironing back with me so il do that tonight and take it back tomorrow and get paid.
Well ive got some washing out which id better bring in as its looking a bit grey overhead!
Just done my own ironing so im glad thats now back up to date.
Payday in 10 days :j, cant come quick enough for me!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hello Diary,
Just popping in for my daily catch up!!
Nothing too exciting today. NSD5 today :j. I actually made some money as mum paid me for an hours ironing. That will be put in petrol later in the week no doubt.
9 days until payday woohoo, nearly 8 haha!
Well it was absolutely freezing here last night, I hadnt realised until about 8.30 just how cold it was as I was ironing. I slept in my PJ's, dressing gown, a small quilt of DD's and our double quilt too. Usually id wake up red hot but I didnt I was still all wrapped up this morning! Ive put the heating on for 2 hours this evening as that was just unbearable but no point in putting it on so late last night!
Dont think ive anything else to report xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi mummy, just caught up with your diary, sounds like you have had a busy couple of weeks.
Glad your all well, oh i love the bargain presents.
Take care.0 -
I must admit we've had the heating on a few hours here and there over the last few days. Hopefully won't be too long before the sunshine is back.
