Hi Mummy
It sounds like you had a lovely day yesterday. Kids are funny with shopping, its to their benefit but they still get fed up with it :rotfl:
I hope your cold isn't too bad. I'm glad I didn't get my summer clothes out as the weather is chillier here, some Mums at school were dressed in strappy dresses and tops the other day!
Your signature is looking good.
Have a lovely day xxx0 -
Hello diary,
Well its the first day of the holidays and the kids have been horrendous this morning! Constantly whinging shes done this, shes done that! Hope this is not whats to come for the whole 2 weeks! They are sat quietly watching Jake and the Neverland pirates so not disturbing them!
Just done a round up of the bank accounts, everything ok there. DH did some sums last night and worked out if we save the loan money plus let the joint account build up we will have around £4k by the end of the year. That plus the sale of our would pretty much buy what we what. So we are definately holding off. I have a feeling if I said tomorrow lets go get the car on finance he would do it in a flash. But no I have stood firm and we will wait until the end of the year. The thing is he sees the £12k we have outstanding as a massive issue, but would gladly go and get car finance as he doesnt class it as the same! If we do save up this will be the first car we have ever bought outright!
Well havent really got much planned for today, the weather is very overcast today and the weather report mentioned rain. DH had put the heating on for an hour this morning so ive hung the washing round.
Ive got piles of washing both clean and dirty which need to be sorted through. Also a basket of ironing with my name on! Will probably do that later on.
I listed 5 items on ebay last night and 2 items already have bids on which im pleased about. Might list a few more bits to end on Sunday tomorrow evening.
Think thats all from me! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
OMG OMG!!! Just taken the girls for a walk and when we got back the postman had been.
DH has only gone and won his PPI back, just short of £2k.
I cannot believe it, I rung him to see if he wanted me to open the letter which the dog had already had a go at! He did and then he didnt believe me, so ive had to take a picture of the letter and email it to him!!!
Im really hoping he might buy another bike. For you guys who have been with me a while you will know he sold his old bike back in 2010 when the news about the debt came out. I am so happy, I really do hope he buys another bike as ive always felt gutted for him as he loved it.

Good Morning diary,
Just popping in to keep on track whilst im off work!
Yesterday ended up being a NSD as planned woohoo!! No 1 of the month. Today wont be a NSD though, ive got the shopping coming from Mr T who offered me £5 off my shopping this week! Then I need to pop to the farmshop for some mince and eggs and the kids can do the easter egg hunt whilst they are there, so they feel like weve done something.
Prior to that we will go to stay and play (free 2 hours!) which is run by the local Childrens Centre and then meet a friend for lunch. So quite a busy day planned.
Appareantly snow is on its way this afternoon  its funny when we had the gorgeous weather last week I said to another parent at school, its ok it will be snowing next week! Only joking but maybe I should go work for the met office :rotfl:!!
Nothing else to report! Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
Oohhh and one of my items is doing very well on ebay, 12 watchers and 5 bids! Going to list a few more items this evening xxMummytogirls x0

Hi mummy, thanks for popping in! I think he will get a bike. The one he wants is about £2500 so we need to save up about £600 before he can get it. The money will go into the ISA until then though.
Well weve had a lovely day out. Spent £8 in McD's catching up with a friend and the kids enjoyed it. Took them to the Easter Egg hunt at the local farmshop. That was free and I needed to go there anyway so win win!
Mr T's brought the shopping and that came in at just under £40 so not bad at all. Felt like I got so much more last week and I only spent £15 more! We didnt need so much this week though, plus it came without bags too which made it look less!
Its really chilly here tonight so weve just put the heating on again. Going to list a few more items on ebay in a mo and then jump in the shower. Oh and then carry on with the application form I started last night.
Tonights tea was hm chicken goujons, wedges and beans. I love being at home and making hm meals. Other meals for the rest of the week are lasagne, kievs and quiche.
Think thats about all from me! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hello diary,
Well peeps not sure what the weather is doing near you but we have quite a lot of snow this morning. It started finely around 6pm last night and has just snowed all night long. I just cant believe last week we were digging out our suncream and flipflops and now this morning DH has been digging out the wellies from the garage . Absolute madness I say!
So didnt have much planned for today so this has given us something to do! The kids want to play out so ive said we will go out on the street later on. The heating is back on, on low on constant. Might aswell get a few loads of washing washed and dried aswell as keeping warm!
DH has gone on the bus as no chance of getting the car off the street.
Nothing else much to report, just cant believe this weather! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Evening diary,
A very productive day at mummytogirls house! Played out with the girls this morning, DD1 was out for nearly 2 hours building a snowman and igloo with the other kids on the street. DD2 wasnt out quite so long but ended up kicking off and getting brought in anyway. I do not know what has got into that girl, she is seriously testing my patience just recently. Hope this phase passes quickly as she completely wears me out when shes like this.
Anyway ive got all my washing, ironing and putting away up to date today :T.
NSD2 of the month :j.
Just completed and submitted the application form for the job ive recently seen. Really like the sound of it and they would support me in completing my qualification which ive always wanted to finish. Will see in anyway, im sure so many people will have applied for it as is the case these days.
I am so full of cold im getting annoyed. I think its turning into a head cold as I feel bunged and achey in my head too.
Nothing planned for tomorrow, DH is finishing early to take some time back from the other Saturday. The snow is melting now thank god!!
Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Afternoon Diary,
Have just been on the OS board researching dishwasher cleaning so thought it would be rude not to post!
Basically recently even after a finish dw clean my dw still doesnt seem to cleaning properly. Im thinking its probably the spinning arm things that need a clean as someone mentioned their crockery etc coming out with what looks like weetabix on it and this was their problem. This has only just recently started happening so once its finished il have a look, then think il run it with some white vinegar in and see if that works. If it does then I think il stop buying the expensive cleaner and go with this!
Had a really chilled out morning, the kids were playing on the PC upstairs and I chilled down here watching trashy morning TV with a cuppa! It was actually a bit of a novelty haha!! They were up there over an hour on the cbeebies website which is rare to have an hours peace.
After lunch I started on the cleaning, ive kept up to it this week so didnt take me long. Hoovered, mopped and polished but wont look tidy for long with these 2!
DH has just called to say he will home soon and requested that we go to the local indian for our tea. They have a special offer on Thursday and Sunday so will see if its on with it being bank holiday weekend. Il ring them and find out as it would be quite a nice start to the weekend. The money will have to come from the grocery budget, but hey ho.
Right off to catch up with some surveys xxMummytogirls x0
