Here I am again avoiding the application form :p its done really I just need to read through again and make sure im happy with it. Hate application forms!

Thanks Alice, my ironing is done now thank god. Just need to put it away now.

Well ive checked the weather and its looking nice all week so il get more washing in ready to peg out in the morning.
I also forgot to mention theres a local beauty salon to me that has a £10 special offer every month, be it a mini facial or pedicure. Ive decided I think I stretch my spending money to cover a treat like that every month. So il be having a walk past next week to see what special offer they have on for April! Im hoping pedicure for when I buy my beautiful sandals next week :rotfl:!!

    Hello Diary!

Sorry ive neglected you for 2 days but the weather has been too good to miss out on :).

Well it was payday yesterday, first one where ive got more spending money yippee!!! Havent spent any of it yet, though will be doing tomorrow when I have my hair done.

Mr T brought the shopping last night, I was very impressed seemed to get loads for £55. Then went to the farmshop for meat this evening and £25 spent in there. Shouldnt need to go shopping until back end of next week now. Will only need milk and maybe fruit.

Tonights tea was supposed to be bolognaise but I fancied steak, chips, mushrooms etc so I changed the menu. DH wasnt impressed as in his words "he was right looking forward to bolognaise" well its tough, you will have to look forward to it tomorrow :rotfl:.

The weather has been soooo nice hasnt it! My washing is drying in super quick time. Yesterday DD and I went for a walk with the neighbour and we were out all afternoon. Then we came back and sat in their garden and before I knew it was 6pm!!! The kids were black bright and hadnt had any tea!! They both slept well lets put it that way! I can hear DH having a battle with DD2 now, that will be because shes tired, think the heat and all this playing out is knocking them out!

Nothing else to report!! Day off tomorrow woohoo!!! x

This made me chuckle - how Yorkshire does that statement sound?

The weather is lovely, hopefully it will last over Easter. Enjoy your day off tomorrow xxx

    Afternoon diary,

What an absolutely glorious day! Another load of washing line dried, would be rude not to! Infact its so warm in our house weve completely turned off the CH!

Today ive been for my hair cutting, im so impressed but was a bit of a shock handing over more money than usual! I usually only pay £10 for my hair cutting :rotfl:. The lady has done a lovely job though so I will definately be going back again.

Ive also had a payout from 2 survey sites totalling £17! So ive ordered myself 3 items from everything5pounds and only had to pay £2.87 towards :D.

So a good day all in all for Mummy!! Going to pick DD1 up shortly so will probably surprise her with an ice-cream from the ice-cream van which she will be super impressed with!

Ive put some bi-carb on my oven door and also my tiles... a tip I saw on superscrimpers!! So il need to get that off when we come back from school!

Think thats about all from me! Hope everyones ok xx

  • mummy glad to hear your hair cut was a success. How lovely to be pampered and have that 'me' time. As much as I like the convenience of having a hairdresser come to the house I do miss going to a salon.

Good idea with the bi-carb:) More washing dried........more ironing. :(

Isn't it great to have the CH off, ours has been off for a few weeks now, plus the boiler needs servicing as the pilot light keeps going out, the service and part to repair boiler will cost£50, will have it fixed (money out of emergency fund) during the school holidays. When the temperature does go a bit cooler its extra jumpers all round. xx

    Afternoon diary,

Just on my lunch break so having a quick catch up.

Just paid the credit cards but my spread sheet is at home so will have to update my totals later on.

Alice, the bi-carb didnt make much difference as far as I could see! The oven door wasnt too bad really but regards to the tiles in the bathroom ive had much better and quicker results with bleach! So wont be buying that again!
Loving the central heating being off although with it dropping a bit I might be tempted to switch it on!!!

Really looking forward to the weekend. We are going shopping for DD's some clothes tomorrow as theyve not had any for a while. Then we will eat out so making a whole afternoon of it which will be nice. Unless DD2 plays up and spoils everything!!

Yesterday was a NSD number 9! Today will be a spend day though, I need milk and going to see if I can buy DH's easter egg from Mr S local but I dont think they will have the one im thinking about.
Going out tonight with a friend but im driving to save on money!

Oh DH went and bought petrol this morning since everyones panic buying and we only had enough to last the weekend! He went to a more expensive one next door to his work and he said it was pretty quiet. A completely different story when I drove past Mr Ms and they were queueing into the carpark! At least we have a full tank now!

Right best get on! Catch up soon xx

  • Hi Mummy, hope you have had a good day. Did you have a successful shopping trip? We have managed today without the heating on......extra layers all round.

Well done on the NSDs, I'm not sure how many I've had this month, I need to find a better way of keeping a note of them as I can't always get on to my diary everyday. One thing for sure is that I have more NSDs now than 12 months ago :). xx

    Morning diary,

Well ive woken up with a stinking cold this morning, hardly surprised considering the change in weather! It was very chilly here yesterday, looking brighter today but it might still be chilly!

Alice, we had a lovely day thank you. Didnt quite get everything as DD's had had enough after 2 shops so we ended up going to pizza hut then home.
Did manage to get them some lovely stuff though and im in 2 minds as to whether to pop to Mr A's today and see if I can get the bits they need to complete their outfits. I dont think il be able to get it all in there though and for the price id pay for the jeans I can get some for similar prices in Next! Not sure what to do hmmmm! All the shops are so far away from each other!

Got myself some sandals aswell just in time for the weather changing :rotfl:. At least ive got them for nice days now!! Just need to buy a waistbelt and then ive completed a whole outfit with just a belt and sandals.

Im off next week, got a few things planned but not anything too spendy thank god.

DH and I have been teasing ourselves with a new car! Not brand new but newer than weve got. If I was thinking with my heart id have been out looking for one today! But im thinking with my head and we will wait until next year. Our current car is 9 years old but keeps on going and going! It doesnt owe us anything really. Ok the MOT was nearly £300 last year but thats all, nothing else through out the year. So we will see, im desperate for a newer car! Need to go get some oil for it actually or else we might be needing a newer car sooner if the engine ceases!

Nothing to report on surveys, very slow at the moment. Also updated my signature but its not really moved much now not paying the loan. Plus weve used some of the money for ourselves this month. Next payday should see a bigger decrease!

    Hope everyones ok xx
