Afternoon diary,
Just getting a bit stalled with my work so having a little break!!
Well im feeling bery pleased with myself today. Cycled to work, didnt see a single bus which means id have got me there before the bus could! My shoulders are killing now, I find my arms and shoulders kill after cycling.
Ate my homemade leek and potato soup which was delicious. Managed another 2 portions for the freezer too which is good from 1 leek, about 3 potatoes and some chicken stock.
Then I walked to waterstones and collected DD wheres wally with her book token from world book day.
Im back on the wagon now, surprisingly since I fell off I havent gained any weight which im pleased about.
Thanks Pennywise, havent heard anything about 1 of them and I know the interviews are Monday so think I know the answer to that one.
Tonights tea is the bolognaise I made last night with some garlic bread.
I was in such a doing mood this morning, I think I would have got loads done had I have been at home.
Managed to peg some washing out this morning aswell so that should be dry as its been lovely here today. Fingers crossed it doesnt rain.
The weathers looking ok for the weekend so I think we will get out and about getting lots of free fresh air!! Will probably take the kids out on their bikes, might even wash and hoover the car and potter round the garden. Ooohhh im looking forward to it already.
Happy weekend everyone xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy,
Funny you should mention taking DD's out on their bikes, I had the same idea. I washed my car last week but it desperately needs doing again so might wash it again tomorrow.
My DD has been for her pre school injections today, she was meant to have them a few weeks ago but I was 2 hours late for the appointment ha ha...well I can't be perfect all the time!
Have a lovely weekend.

Hello diary,
Well ive had a lovely day and not spent a penny again, 2 days in a row! Cant remember which date im on now its written down in my diary!! Think its 5!
Well today we didnt do anything that I had planned, but nice all the same. Got up this morning and DH had been cleaning :T. Think my nagging has finally rubbed off thank god. Went to DH's nans for him to sort her PC out and she gave him £10! She gives him money every time he goes and he doesnt like taking it but shes so insistent! Then took DD to her swimming lesson and then my friend rang and said she was on her way to come and watch DD too. So then we all came back for lunch had pizza, garlic bread etc. She then took the kids for some sweets which was 15 mins of bliss :rotfl:. Not going to bother with any tea, still too full of the lunch and sweets so will just do the kids some supper as theres no way they will be hungry. Shes not long gone and now DH and the kids are downstairs making swords out of cardboard!
Had a line of washing dry in 4 hours today which is good. Totally loving this weather.
So the weather is looking nice again tomorrow so will get more washing out and hopefully wash the car etc.
Having a roast chicken and trimmings tomorrow and will probably make something for pudding too. Hopefully have another NSD too woohoo!!!
Oh no Livvy was DD ok? I hate taking them for injections!!
Chilled out night of doing nothing tonight!! Need to chill out after the past few busy weekends.
Hope everyones having a nice weekend xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy
Glad you've had a lovely day, aww to DH gran giving him some money.
I'm loving this weather as well, my washing dried really quickly and its now all ironed as well.
Yeah to DH starting the cleaning for you, mine was still lazing in bed at 9am reading his book and then having the cheek to tell me to have a quick shower because he had a busy morning!!!
Have a lovely evening xxx0 -
Good Evening diary,
A very happy mummy here im loving this weather!! Weve been outside pretty much all day. Got up and had pancakes for breakfast, hung washing out, stripped kids beds, got ready, went out to the park and for a nice walk with the dog! Came back hung bedding out, other washing was already dry, washed and hoovered the car, tidied the understair cupboard as shoes were all over the place! cooked dinner and pudding, weeded my hanging basket and pot, remade kids beds and now cooking some chicken stock....phew! And breathe ha!!
The sun shining makes me realise spring is just around the corner. Plus with us being out and about today weve not had the TV on all day using electric.
Ive got some items ending on ebay this evening, no bids as yet just 1 watcher on each item not sure if its the same person.
So once im done on here il strain the stock and then get showered and ready for bed. All this fresh air and being busy has tired me out!
Choo, men are funny arent they!!! Hope youve had a lovely day too xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi mummy, it sounds as though you had a lovely weekend, its been cold and overcast with us and i've been ill so didn't get out with the kiddies.
Hope the ebay items sold.0 -
Good Morning diary,
Unfortunately Pennywise nothing sold on ebay!! Havent relisted them, might re-do the listing in a couple of weeks.
Well ive just updated my signature with credit card repayments, so close to 45% now! My %'s wont go up so high now that the loan is paid off and we are going to have slightly more spending money to ourselves. Roll on payday 2 weeks today.
Just done the meter readings, and £47 for 2 weeks which im pleased with. Still over £50 in credit so we should start building up some credit now again that we are using less.
Right best get off. Need to do my hair before setting off. Taking DD to playgroup so wont be a NSD. Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Sounds like you've had a very busy but great weekend. I love it when you can spend all day outside.

Evening diary,
Hi Alice, Ebay is hit and miss, but my last lot of stuff sold well!! Nevermind, it didnt cost me anything to list them anyway.
Well ive had another load dry outside today :T. Going to do our bedding tomorrow I think, yippee fresh bed tomorrow!
Ive just made the most delicious chicken and broccoli pie. DD1 woofed it down as she does everything, DD2 kicked up a stink like she always does and hers ended up in the bin. Totally sick of her behaving like this, she does like the food it just depends on her mood. I made the pie using up the chicken from yesterday, this is something ive never done before and I dont believe I havent actually!! Also used some of the stock I made last night.
Today hasnt been a NSD, spent £2 on playgroup and then got them an icecream after school from the icecream van. I wont be doing this every day but I promised DD last week she could have one.
Cant seem to get into op world. Not sure why, ive emailed them incase ive clicked unsubscribe but not heard back yet.
This evening will be chilling ready for work tomorrow. Going to get the kids ready for bed in a mo.
Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Evening diary!
Just popping in quickly! Today has been a bit chilly here, my washing has come in still a bit damp so will need to put it out on the radiators for the morning.
Today has been a spend day. Needed petrol, only put £15 in as I ended up at an expensive one! Then I spent £4 in Mr S. Needed bread and milk and also saw some creme egg eggs for £1 so got the kids one each for Easter. Then I thought I need to buy my nephew and niece aswell so might go back and get some more. They didnt have a huge selection so I was waiting til I went to Mr T to buy my girls some more. Cant go wrong for a £1 though!!
Finally got back into Opworld and have just withdrawn £10 :j.
Work wasnt too bad today, steady away how I like it!! I am planning on cycling tomorrow so I took my soup in today (some of the leek and potato I made last week). Today I had leftover pie which was delicious!
Right best check out other diaries xxMummytogirls x0
