    Good Morning diary,

Ive lots to get through today so going to write myself a list in a mo so I dont forget anything.
Working from home today which is good cos it means I can peg out and if the weather turns bring it in.

So yesterday the weather was so nice here. Ive been asking DH for weeks to move the broken rotary airer out of the garden. So yesterday whilst the kids were playing out after school I took matters into my own hands :rotfl:. Hacked the washing line part out of it off, removed it from my garden and made myself a washing line :T.

So theres been a completely different light shed on my 7 hours, we had a meeting yesterday with the HR present, apparently they cant just make me lose hours just like that. So im keeping those extra hours for now. That said there is ways round it such as a restructure so we will see!!

Yesterday was a spend day. DD1 and I went to the local farmshop after school and spent £20 in there, got 4 lots of meat, fruit, veg and eggs so not bad at all. I just need to spend about £10 in the supermarket now to get the bits I couldnt get.

Does anyone else feel more positive now that the weathers been a bit nicer?? I walked into DD's bedroom this morning, the window was open it was all fresh and I just thought yes im going to enjoy this spell of weather haha!! Oh I also turned the heating off last night. We had got home and it was so warm in the house that I turned the programme right off. But that meant no heating this morning, which I thought was ok actually but DH disagreed and put it on for an hour.

    Thanks for your support Pennywise.
Oh dear Livvy haha theres been many a time when ive felt like that!!

Think thats all from me. Catch up soon xx

    Hello Diary,

Havent posted since Friday which is very unlike me! The weekend has just run away with me and now its Sunday, the house looks like a bomb has hit and ive 2 applications to fill in!!

Friday night I went out for a friends birthday. DH dropped me off so I only needed to get a taxi back. Spent around £20 so not too bad at all. Thats my spending money for the month wiped out though as id been out Thursday with some girls from work aswell!

Yesterday I spent nursing my hangover! Didnt get up until 10 and then whilst DH took DD's to swimming lessons I went back to bed :o. Well I woldnt have been recovered for round 2 otherwise :rotfl:.
Ate a load of rubbish, started filling in 1 application form and then finally at 3.30 dragged myself to get dressed and take the kids to my mums as they were sleeping there.
Got back got ready and off back out with DH (he paid) to a friends party. We drove 1 way and got a taxi back and we also popped for a curry on the way home.

We are now back home, its been snowing !!!!!! after last weeks lovely weather no pegging out and the heatings back on. Kids are here in a good mood, DH is cooking another curry, which makes it for me 1 a day since Thursday .

The diet seriously will be restarting tomorrow, ive completely fallen off the wagon.

Theres also a lovely basket of ironing with my name on it and after tea we all need to chip in and get the house ship shape.
Right I think il do some ironing and then come back and do the application forms. Cant really be bothered right now!!!

Right best get on!! Catch up soon xx

  • Hi Mummy,

Sounds like you have been a social butterfly this weekend (although maybe you are starting to look like some Indian Food!) :rotfl: The weather is pants here today - I think it has rained non stop since I have been awake - such a change to yesterdays and the day before's weather

I got myself all comfy to start the ironing, managed to do about 4 items of clothing and it simply stopped working :( OH has tried fuses etc. but no, alas, my iron has died. I have ordered a new one off Currys website for £25.00 with free delivery but for the beginning part of the week, people won't have clothes to wear :o I was trying to think how old my iron was and I think it has to be about 11 years old so I don't think I have done too bad for longevity ;)
    Just keep swimming!

    Good Morning diary,

Nothing too exciting to report from here today, its really bright just a bit on the chilly side. Debating on whether to hang out washing but I dont think it will dry so might aswell hang out for the heating later on.

2/3 of my ebay items that sold have been paid so I need to parcel those up and me and DD2 will post before picking DD1 up from school this afternoon.

Ive got a joint of beef to cook for tonights tea, really looking forward to it already.

Oh dear to the iron Itsa, suppose it has saved you a job for now! 11 years is not bad at all.

Just had a little round up of surveys. None really to do but im now only 300 points from a yougov payout so il be avidly checking on that site :rotfl:.

Nothing else really to report!! Hope everyones ok xx

Well im very pleased with myself!! Have just ordered the free photo mug thats been advertised on here for just £1.99 and also theres a card offer through bonus print, so I got a Mothers day card for my mum for 60p :money:. The cup will be for MIL! Will buy them something else aswell, but im quite chuffed with these bargains!!

Roast beef is in the oven and weve also made some flapjack although I had to add a bit of readybrek as we didnt have as many oats as what I thought :rotfl:. Tastes good though.

Ive packaged up my parcels so me and DD will set off to post those in half an hour to post those. Ive also discovered we need milk so will pop in the coop for some. Yesterday was a NSD and I was hoping today would be today but hey ho nevermind!

    Nothing else to report xx

  • Well done on the ebay sales, must sort myself out and get some bits listed.

Fab mothers day bargains, must have a look at the mug offer.
  • Hope your flapjack lasts a little long than ours did, I'm going to call it 24hr flapjack because thats how long it lasted before it had all gone :)

Great day here for putting washing out, hope you've got a bright day too, it does make us feel better and more optimistic I think.xx

    Hello Diary,

What lovely weather we have had today, had another load of washing out and dry, loving it!!

Pennywise, defo look at the offer, such a bargain at £1.99. Plus I used my paypal money too so in effect hasnt cost me anything!!

Alice, weve had washing out too. Makes me feel so good about myself. Theres 2 pieces of flapjack for the kids lunchboxes tomorrow so not much longer that yours haha! Maybe the trick is to freeze it immediately!

Well nothing much to report. Today is NSD2 of the month, im really hoping for quite a few this month. Hopefully tomorrow will be too, Thursday wont be as il probably need shopping and maybe some petrol. Less than 3 weeks until payday. I cant wait to have a bit more spending money to myself.

Tonights jobs is to do some work which I always do. I also need to complete this application form aswell. Il do that before tea, then review it after and email off. This is the school one so ive got mixed feelings about it. The biggest feeling being the drop in salary. Anyway going to complete it to the application form best I can and see what happens from there.
    Nothing much else to do.

Doing a breakfast for tea, going to do myself a poached egg, cant wait!!

Right off to catch up with some surveys, diaries and do a bit more of this application xx

    Hello diary,

2 days since I posted which is generally a while for me!
Hmm what to report. Have had 2 NSD's in a row, today wasnt NSD though as weve just been to Mr T's and spent £47. Im impressed with the amount of things I seemed to get though. Tomorrow will be NSD4.

Tonight ive cooked spaghetti bolognaise for tomorrows tea and alsi made leek and potato soup using leftovers which im just waiting to cool down and then il blitz it up.

Not doing too badly with the surveys. 175 points away from yougov payout and 150 points away from op world. That will be it now I wont get anymore surveys!!

I managed to sumbit both applications on time so will keep fingers crossed. If I dont hear anything at least ive had the practice.

Ive got a pinks wash to put in tonight and then all being well il peg it out tomorrow. Im so pleased ive been able to peg out :D.

Im hoping to see a reduction in our gas bill when I do the meter readings as weve sometimes not even had the heating on on an evening, which previously it was on 2-3 hours per night.

Right dont think ive anything else to report! Catch up soon x
