Good Morning diary,

27th February 2012 marks my last loan payment date - done :j!!! I am happy but strangely not as giddy as what id thought I would be! Maybe its because weve still got a way to go and whilst we are allowing ourselves more spending money the rest will be saved up and paid off in lump sums to other debts.

In other news! Had a lovely weekend, didnt manage a NSD but only £6 on Saturday and £8 yesterday so LSD's. Today will be a NSD8 and im hoping Wednesday will be NSD9 as im travelling for work so all expenses will be claimed back anyway.

Just done the meter readings and in this last fortnight weve used £55, still a bit higher than I might of liked but I feel from here on we might start using a bit less. £7 in credit going forward so we need to make sure we se less now otherwise we will just be breaking even which id rather be in credit. I think my DD is due for review in April so im hoping it doesnt go up, it shouldnt really!

So today, ive cleaned the kitchen, DW etc as this always gets done after breakfast. Also managed to clean the ensuite before taking DD to school too, which im quite pleased with.
So my other jobs to get done are:

- clean the other bathroom
- mahoosive basket of ironing!
- entertain DD2!
- make pastry for tomorrows pie
- DD's parents evening this evening
- general hoover and polish this evening so its lovely and tidy for going back to work again tomorrow

I managed to list 9 items on ebay last night, no watchers as yet but theres Next and Jasper Conran in there so im hoping they sell. If not il relist next week!! We are going out on Mothers day for a meal so any proceeds will go towards that.

Hello diary,

Trying to remain upbeat but anxious-ness is creeping through. Thanks BR, dont think il be better off for much longer though!
You remember last year when I faced redundancy but at the 11th hour managed to get myself a completely different post and saved myself getting made redundant.
Well basically we lost a lot of funding and due to various issues the company hasnt brought in much funding so there may be redundancies again before the year is out. Now I currently work 25.5 hours a week (7 hours for the Finance Manager) and ive seen a document today that states from April I will only be 0.5FTE which is 18.5 hours so basically will be losing my 7 Finance hours. This more or less equates to the extra loan money we would be saving and chucking at debts :mad:. Whilst im happy the loan is now paid im so f'ing cross that here we are again should be better off but not due to other circumstances.
Im travelling for work tomorrow with said Manager so will ask what the crack is.
Ive decided I am going to start looking for something else, I cant go on like this every year its proper stressful. Although that said theres not many jobs out there anyway!

Ive seen my ideal job in a school just about 1.5 miles down the road, but the pay is less than half what im on now!! Going to apply and see what happens as its term time only and id save on DD1's childminder fees etc. Definately going to apply and take it from there, id be stupid not to really. Its only 22.5 hours a week so perhaps I could look for a second job to make up the shortfall.

Cant believe weve got this going on again. Doesnt feel like 2 mins since it all happened before argh!!

Imagine how much worse this would seem with the debt still at 23k - you've come so far and need to focus on the positives.

Hi Mummy,
I know how you feel as I have been through the same worry everytime the business I work for change hands. What I always think is, if it happens then you will find something else and maybe you will love your new job and be really glad you were given that push.

Chin up because tomorrow is another day...and you can give said Manager a grilling.

Hi All,

Thanks so much for all your positive responses.

So today im still no further to knowing and I dont think we will know for a few more weeks yet.
Basically I probably am going to lose the 7 hours, not going to cry about it as its just extra money we were just going to throw at debt its not the end of the world.
Now theres also another issue in that we should be moving to a new company. Its looking more than likely I will be retained by the other company which leaves me in probably the best position. This is because there will be more chance of getting redeployed if the funding on this project stops. Anyway, only time will tell.
Still going to apply and take it from there.

Anyway! Been travelling today so nothing to report money wise except its NSD9. All my expenses will be claimed back through work.
DH got paid though and the bank account looks lovely... until all the DD's go out :rotfl:. Im sure I say this every month.

Going to log off now as ive been up since 5.15 and dont want to get wired. Cuppa, shower and chill with the TV in bed I think in that order. Last day in the office tomorrow as im working from home on Friday.

Hi Mummy,

Loving the positive thoughts, I am sure everything will come good for you. I'm in bed with PC and TV on as had a !!!! day in the office...could have knocked the bloke out in the meeting but then I chilled out and thought, do I really care? lol. Probs not!
