Mummytogirls - 100 years to be debtfree - I think not!

Hi Mummy
Sounds like you had a busy day yesterday, I hope the girls have calmed down. My DD came home from school on Friday hyper, even DH commented on how loud she was! Must be the weather.
Your comment made me chuckle about not been as trendy as some of the teeny boppers, I think so long as you feel comfortable wearing what you're wearing it doesn't really matter. I like to wear fashionable clothes but not be over trendy, I just pick out what I like from the current trend and wear that.
Hope you have a lovely day xxx0 -
Evening diary,
Well does everyone agree the weekend has gone by in a flash?!
Today weve spent a few hours with some friends. She did lunch which was nice and did some gorgeous pitta pizzas for the kids! They were delicious and I think il make some for DD's lunch box as she really enjoyed them!
Alice and Choo, the kids have come down from the ceiling today haha! They slept well so must have tired themselves out.
Choo I always feel like I look nice before I leave the house, its when I see every one else I feel out of place. Maybe its just a phase im going through?!
Forgot to mention DH's PPI cheque came in the post on Friday. Hes so laid back, im saying are you going to bank it tomorrow and hes like well theres no rush! Id have been at the bank Saturday morning with it had it have been mine!!
The weather is absolutely pants here at the moment. Not a chance of getting washing line dried, so its back to the radiators for now.
Meter reading day tomorrow, our figures should be quite low I think.
Think thats about all from me! Catch up soon xMummytogirls x0 -
Evening diary,
Very busy day here for me! Think im going back to work for a break tomorrow :rotfl:!
Well ive discovered today our tax credits have been completely slashed! We didnt get a lot anyway but now only qualify for £9 a month, wouldnt bother!
Took DD2 to her first dancing lesson at the Childrens Centre this morning, that was free might aswell get everything free I can since I never get anything!
Then we took my mum to Mr M's, only spent £18 so not too bad. Roll on payday when I can do a mahoosive shop!!
Then home for DD1, then quick beans on toast tea and back out to DD1's football coaching. It was inside tonight as the weather was pants, still raining now
Did the meter readings this afternoon, we are using around £23 a week which could be better but we keep randomly switching the heating on as it can get a bit chilly. Also to get the washing dry with rubbish weather.
Tomorrow and Wednesday will probably be NSD, to be honest ive got no money to spend anyway!!
DH has just been bathing the kids so ive made tomorrow nights spaghetti bolognaise. DH said he will cycle but its done now just incase this changes.
Dont think ive anything else to report! Catch up soon xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy,
Did DD enjoy her dancing lessons? I took my DD for her first lesson on Saturday, she loved it. She woke up at 6:30 asking when we were going.
Thats rubbish with your tax credits, I don't qualify for any and then they are looking to take the child benefit away too.
My pay day is Wednesday YEY!

Mummy that's great the dancing lessons are free. My friend works in 'benefits' and she says if you don't take the things that are free somebody else will so if it's there take it. We haven't heard whats happening to our tax credits but as DS1 is 18 now I've no doubt the amount will go right down.:(
My payday is this Friday, can't wait, although had goodish month I know we could do so much better and I'm trying for another couple of NSDs this week (purse completely empty too).

Hope DD enjoyed her dancing and thats fantastic that its free, my childrens school have a lot of afterschool activities that are free, art club, gym club and i try to encourage my children to do them if they want to, its nice for them to feel part of things, gosh they have better social lives than me.
Pants news about Tax credits, i don't get any now as the useless g!ts overpaid me one year and they stopped.0 -
Evening diary,
Just about to start some work and also apply for another job ive seen closing date Friday so il probably start it tonight and complete it tomorrow.
Well I was left feeling like a total criminal at school today! Ive been helping a parent at school by collecting her DD and meeting her in the village as she cant get there in time. The teachers were aware etc this has been going on some time. Today I wasnt allowed to do this as apparently the parent hadnt told them! They totally have been told as I was stood there when they were told and more to the point theyve been letting me take her all this time! Anyway the way they handled this has left me reeling, I felt like some bl00dy child snatcher stood there! If ive not calmed down by Thursday about it I will be having a word with the way it was handled. Luckily (for them!) DH will do the school run tomorrow!
Hi Livvy, Alice and Pennywise! DD enjoyed the dancing, it was like a baby ballet type of a class. It only runs for 12 weeks so might aswell make the most of it. Bless DD Livvy
.
Hope your tax credits doesnt drop too much Alice.
All our after school clubs have to be paid for Pennywise.
Well weve just had spaghetti bolognaise for tea which was nice. Theres also some leftover for lunch tomorrow. Tomorrow nights tea will be cheese and onion pasties, chips and beans or something similar.
Dont think ive anything else to report. 1ish more day til payday :j xxMummytogirls x0 -
Well im still here, still annoyed and havent done the application form!
Im not in the right mood for it so il have to start it tomorrow.
Off to make a cuppa and warm up xMummytogirls x0 -
Get that application form done Mrs!!!!
Sorry to hear that you've had a rubbish afternoon, was it their usual teacher?0 -
Yes Choo!! It will be submitted in time, will probably do some at lunch time tomorrow.
Yes usual teacher! This school totally drives me mad at times. I know for child safety etc they have to do these things, but my point to them was well if the parent hadnt told you how come youve let me take her all this time! I felt really stupid, I really did! You try do a favour for someone and it ends it leaving you feeling stupid! I dont know xMummytogirls x0
