Hello, It has taken me nearly an hour again to catch up with you lot!

Evenstar - Happy Birthday!! :D Dont worry about the stroppy teenager, I was like that with my mum for years and I love my mum to bits, I am now sending her to Australia at end of year for 3 weeks to visit her brother who moved 2 years ago. It is hormones, theyre horrendous but she will find an even keel with it eventually. Promise!

    Hugs to everyone :)

Sorry to come in with a rant, but I am nearly in tears about Amazon marketplace feedback. Only 3 people have left it, and two of those are neutral - one over somethng "missing" from the item that was never meant to be there in the first place (I've left a response to that effect), and the other gushing about how lovely the item was, and then leaves "item not as described" with no explanation at all as to why.

I'll probably never sell anything else now thanks to this :( Over 200 items sold on eBay and 100% feedback, and now a couple of tricky customers in my first few sales on Amazon, and awful feedback.

    Grr.

I'm looking into other options altogether - can't stand eBay, if I'm honest.

This could be a positive- I might find somewhere else good to sell stuff and be able to feed back on it!

Glis, think positive, every cloud has a silver lining and all that! I just looked at my bank, I am withdrawing everying I sell on ebay straight into my savings so that is mounting up without me even trying and I can now say that all the money has gone out from cheques to DCA so I am officialy debt free!! :D I have never felt so happy and relieved! Woooo :D

Now everything I have in savings is my house fund! :D
  • Glis - don't worry, feedback on Amazon is not like EBay, it doesn't mean as much, can you contact Amazon or the buyer and ask why or if they can change it?

I have sold over 20 things on Amazon and only have 2 feedback! One of them was a neg and it hasn't stopped people buying. Bloke emailed me and asked to make sure it got there next day as he had a test using the book the following day, then 2 weeks later he emails to say someone has written in the book and it is useless, give him a refund or he will leave neg. I know you only use it once as the reason I had it in the first place is because OH took the test, emailed Amazon customer help and they sorted it.

Someone hit me, I have just spent £601 on stock. oops, god knows where I am going to put it! Me and bl00dy bargains!

    Wow :D WELL DONE!

That's cheered me up no end!

Poobags to tricky buyers who want the item as described and the moon on a stick!

Found somewhere that will buy all my classical CDs - will have to type them all out, but probably worth the hassle just to step away from the customer, as it were.

Off to get some hair dye, as my grey roots are making me look like a badger. Back soon x
