Sorry to come in with a rant, but I am nearly in tears about Amazon marketplace feedback. Only 3 people have left it, and two of those are neutral - one over somethng "missing" from the item that was never meant to be there in the first place (I've left a response to that effect), and the other gushing about how lovely the item was, and then leaves "item not as described" with no explanation at all as to why.
I'll probably never sell anything else now thanks to thisOver 200 items sold on eBay and 100% feedback, and now a couple of tricky customers in my first few sales on Amazon, and awful feedback.
Grr.
Don't worry too much - I've been doing Amazon Marketplace for years - I don't believe neutral or conradictory feedback will make any difference in the long run - feedback doesn't seem so crucial as on Ebay in my opinion. Just keep going - if you've only got a few sales under your belt, I think people will still buy from you. It's those sellers that have sold hundreds of things and have 85% feedback that people seem to avoid - just give it some time, I'm sure it'll all work out!0 -

I have sold over 20 things on Amazon and only have 2 feedback! One of them was a neg and it hasn't stopped people buying. Bloke emailed me and asked to make sure it got there next day as he had a test using the book the following day, then 2 weeks later he emails to say someone has written in the book and it is useless, give him a refund or he will leave neg. I know you only use it once as the reason I had it in the first place is because OH took the test, emailed Amazon customer help and they sorted it.
Someone hit me, I have just spent £601 on stock. oops, god knows where I am going to put it! Me and bl00dy bargains!
I think I might contact the buyer who gushed about how lovely everything was, and then left an "item not as described" and ask why, but inclined to let what's on there run to the end of the 60 days, then not relist any of it there, and try other options.
And a bargain is a bargain - you can always sit on the boxes of stock and use them as furniture! :rotfl:Stage one - declutter
Stage two - sell the clutter
Stage three - turn the money into more money
Stage four - pat self on back

Just a quick note - Amazon seems to have stopped the 60 day listing thing - I no longer get end of listing emails since last year! Everything just stays on till it sells - anyone else found this?0 -

Handy to know. I may take everything down bit by bit in that case, and cut my Amazon losses.
I'm still seething. Call me a softie, but I never neg, or even neutral a seller unless the item is WAY off the mark.Stage one - declutter
