Mummy and Paige I know some social workers who are fab at their job and find it really rewarding - it just isn't for me.
My long term dream is to own a huge cafe in town where there would be a central bit in the middle for kids to play with all the tables round the edge of the play bit. not soft play but other ideas I have for the toys etc.
Whenever I go to a cafe I end up stressed cos my children want to be down playing but if I let them they nearly trip people up with hot drinks and plates etc. This way people with food would be walking round the outside of the tables and kids would be playing in the inner bit. Have thought really hard and have lots of ideas about how to encourage it to be both fun for kids and relaxing for parents but no time to go into it in this post..It would have second hand maternity and kids clothes section where people would get percentage of the clothes they bring. there would be talks and activities going on to support people in enjoying family life and people who had skills hobbies etc could share them with others who are interested. There would in my bigger dreams be a place like one in the states called leonardo's basememnt where kids and adults can let their creativity rip and have acces to allsorts of equipment tools and materials and not have to have prescribed outcomes for what they make. But I have no experience skills money or time. but it has been an evolving dream over about the last 6 years and I really want to make it happen.
I love the idea of creating spaces and places for people but not sure I have the staying power for the day to day running of it.

oh, oh, oh, jo, you sooo have to talk to sheloveshimsomuch, swap cafe for laidback restaurant and that is so close to her dream, sorry prob should have kept quite!
Where are you, I forgot, it is a really good one, love it, honest. Maybe the little things like me are good for you, I an flitting to try Aand raise cash for a bigger project and researching along the way!
Snap about staying power, thats why once the setup is done, I am going to employ a manager so when I get bored of it, I have someone to carry on and I can move onto another idea! Thats sounds so snobbish now I have written it down!turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -

Get in touch with Renault direct and calmly but firmly tell them that you've found this is a common problem with Renault, and that you think it's not on that you have to pay.
I had a problem with the windows on my Renault, long story, won't bore you with the details, but I ended up with a REALLY helpful guy at Renault who went out of his way to sort things out for me. When the same problem occurred on a different window a few months later, one quick call to him had in booked in to the garage and sorted. No cost to me at all. I've found their customer service to be excellent - provided you speak to them DIRECT and get them involved! HTH.

Another thing, while I think about it - you should really have 2 keycards, so if you don't and they're only supplying one, I'd ask Renault about a complimentary spare.

Mummyand paige. thanks . yeah my aim of this challenge is to try and get in a better position to do something about it. I don't think it sounds snobby at all. I think the key is to know your strengths and play to them and get help for the other bits. and yes I would love it but probably want to then set up another idea too.
Thats funny about sheloveshimsomuch as well. There is nowhere properly kid friendly near me except some soft play places a little drive away and they are too expensive for regualar use. want mine to be somewhere you can just go and crash when going shopping is stressful or when its puring down but you need to get out of the house and see a friend.

EM and Joeyare you wanting the bigger Sulkies (about 4.5" length) or a mini one (3 and a little bit ")? Here are the normal and mini versions next to each other (I can make the minis sit down if they are to go over a monitor, a shelf or something);
-the ball of clay is an attempt at strawberry blonde
I'd like the bigger one please paula - I like the way the sulky attitude comes out of the whole body posture. And it can sit on her monitor and hopefully make her laugh when she starts gettting fed up.
Thank you :T:jI shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.0 -
