wow, thats gorgeous, you are so talented, beautiful! Have you tried marketing bits without the wedding in the title, eveningwear or prom or something similar, seems as shame to save it all for weddings! And that would go perfect with a LBD, matching earrings and a black tie do!turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0

very true mummyandpaige i'd defo wear it to a black tie do!!0

thankyou-know I've seen it in a photo i'm going to carry it on, difficult to tell when you're looking straight at it (sounds weird I know!)
My 'normal' wedding jewellery is marketed for weddings and proms. But I was thinking that this new collection might be more suitable for proms (but still for weddings as well)-especially for emo type girls who dont want the normal white sparkly diamond look etc.
Trouble is to find a way to market it on the site without alienating either market. (maimstream/goth)
that particular necklace is still quite classic I suppose but I have just found some moonstone so some pieces may be a bit more out there!0 -
Mabel - Just sell it I think that it is lovely. And trend wise as long as a piece is well made I don't think it will matter. I think it looks really elegant - it reminds of a necklace that a femme fatale would wear in a film noir... tbh it might get you more clients because you have such a range of styles. I don't think that it will alienate anyone.
Also, statement jewellery is a big trend at the moment so the fact it is 'out there' is probably a good thing.10K 2010 challenge £3202.59/£10000

I used Vendio....
*goes searching for linky thing*.....
http://www.vendio.com/ecommerce/gallery
not sure if the stats they give are correct.... 50 % and all that but its FREE!!! Ignore all the rubbish about shop on Vendio..... I;m not using that at all or any of the other stuff.... It will add the gallery to your listings automatically
Auctiva started charging each month....
Well done Babymoo!!!
Glis, I can understand where you are coming from, but if yo want to make money then you have to learn to let it go..... and as for other platforms to sell from..... I don't think there are any that get the traffic that ebay, play and amazon get. There are threads about ebid etc all over the ebay board here and the ebay forums, and TBH no one seems to be getting the sales as much as on ebay, amazon etc....
I, personally, use both ebay and amazon... don't give up.....
Out of interest what sit about ebay that you don't like???
if there is anything I can do to help....sealed pot challange #572!Garden fund - £0!!:D£0/£10k0 -
Thanks Dilli -So do you think it would be better just to add it as the 'black rose collection' but not mention anything about goth type things etc. Actually someone suggested something a few pages back about it being 'darker' ,'mysterious' etc bit cant remember who it was,all they wrote or what page it was on!0
-
Money mabel definately label it black rose collection i love that n it doesnt aim at anything in particular if that makes sense0

thanks Mambury! yay-I've set that up...just waiting for it to appear on my listings-does it take a while?
Thanks Babymoo :-)0 -

me me me me!!!
I think......
Personally I would call it
'Black Rose'.... market is towards the gothy end of the market but list on the site as 'darker' romantic' mysterious.... get that tin the tag lines somewhere..... I think if you say GOTH RANGE.... the normals are going torun a mile, but if you play up the Victoriana edge of it (as Gothic style is a victorian re invention) then it opens it up to loads more people that would call themselves goth but want something different.....
off to cook chippies for tea!!
