    Morning:)

Just checked my ebay and everything is now finished (phew!) I am waiting payment for 6 items and need to post 8 items today. Why are some people so slow in paying!!!!

Off to dentist with DS3 this morning, then drop him at school afterwards. Will need to pay for parking at the hospital, may pop to tesco later to buy some bits to go towards my lunchbox. I would rather do that than spend the money on expensive sandwiches etc.

I checked the water in my flask before I went to be last night and it was still scalding hot! After 6 hours, so it will be a first test today with hot food. Must remember to pack a fork!

Banking done although there wasn't anything much to do this morning as no DD's came out. Spreadsheets checked no need for adjusting.

Won't be a NSD today because of the parking and Tesco, but I am aiming to have two over the weekend hopefully! Get everything bought I need to buy today and tomorrow I think is the plan!

Off to make a cuppa and browse on here for a bit:)

Hope the flask is good - lunches etc are one area where I spend too much as well, and really need to crack that habit. I am taking couscous with roasted veggies today.

    Morning:)

Flask worked well. Food remained hot enough for me to eat therefore saving me from buying a lunch. Success!

Parking cost £1.60 and I went to Tesco and spent £38.03, of which £9.49 was household products and they are not included in grocery budget so total spent £28.54. Also spent £2.74 in Co op, so will need to update signature. Enough milk/fresh stuff/bread to last until after the weekend now.

Grand total spent for October so far: £80.28. There is £199.72 left in budget to last 23 days. That leaves £8.68 per day.

Still waiting for people to pay me from ebay, however, I decided to order the bunkbeds last night as they had £10 off and also you get a £10 voucher if you bought before end of 7/10. Went via Quidco for cashback and paid using my Cashplus card so should get cashback there too.

The boys will be happy! I havent told them I have ordered them yet, I might just surprise them:)

Taking the boys to go and see their Granny today. I wanted to go and see her and the boys asked to come with me, DS2 will go back into school after break this morning and DS1 will have the rest of the day off college. I think they need to see her before the funeral next week. I have also got their trousers and shirts, they both asked for simple white shirts and black trousers even though they were told they could wear something colourful if they wanted. But that is what they asked for.

DD had a brilliant time at Beavers last night and while she was there, DS3 and I went to walk for a walk with a friend who was walking her dogs, fresh air did us good as it was quite a long trek!

Off to update sig and spreadsheets, have a good day all x

    Morning:)

Had a great time last night at the Quiz and Curry night at the school. Ticket had already been paid for a while back so just got some beer to take with me £4.25. A friend picked me up and dropped me home. Babysitter cost £10.

Yesterday I went into town to get some more packaging, a couple of birthday presents and sweeties for the kids as it was friday.

Also made my lunch again, Brie and Grape sub roll and fruit/yoghurt and a small chocolate bar.

Hoping for a NSD today and tomorrow as I havent anything planned, it will be a chill out sunday and catch up with housework day today.

All spreadsheets and banking up to date. Looking good so far this month!!

I have joined the make £10 a day challenge, I have already made quite a bit of money so far. Will spend some of the weekend starting a new 'to be ebayed' box. Which I will start listing again in a week or so. Quidco looking healthy so far.

Will be having a good browse on here today. After 5 years as a member of MSE I still find new ideas all the time to save money!

Have a fab weekend all x

    Happy Monday all:)

Had a very lazy day yesterday and managed to stay in my PJ's all day long! Result:D

Did go anywhere, so didn't spend, that meant I achieved NSD number 3:)

Spent quite a lot of the day reading and going over my budget. Made a few more adjustments and I am more determined than ever to get rid of every penny that I owe!

    Plans for this week:

    - Make lunch at home everyday, I want to be 7/7 lunches at home this week. Very doable with a plan, which I have been working on, a mini meal planner for my lunches:)

    - Going to shops today, will be spending (but carefully) and then I am planning to stay away from the shops until Friday:eek: Yes, 3 NSD's midweek! Also Sat/Sun and will aim for 5 NSD's for the whole week!

-I don't have a lot of plans this week, most of them are kids activities after school which will free up my day for other things such as meal planning, baking, housework etc

    - Start browsing the net for ideas for xmas presents for family. Start writing proper xmas present list and go through card/giftwrap box to see what I have in already.

    - Collect 10 things that can be ebayed next Sunday night. Then list them!

    - Keep working on a plan to achieve the £10 a day challenge from now to end of the year (81 days to go). That would be an extra £810 towards DS1 bed/debt if I succeed! This will include a lot of ebaying (which the house could benefit from) but I do think I can achieve it!

That seems quite a lot to be getting on with. Need to write a small shopping list of groceries I need to last us until Friday! Lets hope I can keep it low!

    Have a great day everyone!
