  • Morning all:)

Ebay bidding now up to £40:j

Have dug out grocery receipt from the other day and total was £21.31. This now brings my total spend to £155.75 for september so far, leaving me with £144.25 to last 8 days:D I don't think this will be a problem at all!!

Managed to list 11 things in total yesterday on ebay, hoping that these will sell, already have a couple of watchers!

Have £26 coming from Quidco when they pay out so if I havent sold enough on ebay to cover the bunk bed I will use this towards it.

Banking and spreadsheets done, will be working on Oct/Nov/Dec budget this morning as having another day at home to avoid the shops:D

Managed my NSD yesterday:D Up to 10/12 now!

Off to update signature with the latest......

  • Been busy today! Took 26 items to Tesco's textile recycling bin:) Glad to get it out of the house TBH. Ebay still going strong, over £42 now and loads more watchers:) Listed 3 more items too!

Off to town tomorrow as have clothes to take back to shops so will get some money refunded into account (clothes didnt fit).

Renewed library books today as couldnt get to library and wanted to avoid a fine, have put them in the car to take back next time I am passing.

Still working on budget for next 3 months as I want to have paid my dad back by the end of december!

Can't believe my London trip is only 9 days away! I am starting to get really excited now!

Another NSD achieved! one to go.....

  • Morning all:)

Just checked ebay and bids are up to £52:) Still just over two days to go so fingers crossed for more!

Banking and Spreadsheets done, looking good. Only a handful of things left to come out of the account this month, where has september gone??

Think I have a bit of a cold coming on, very sniffly this morning. Off to town later to get some refunds, need to buy a present for a party DD is going to on Saturday.

Inset day tomorrow and monday for DD, not sure what to do yet, my sister is coming round friday morning for a cuppa to see us and we have a scout hike and party on saturday and friends round for a visit on sunday! I guess there is really only monday spare:D

Off to wake DS1 for college and another cuppa, have a good day all x

  • A spend day today. £1.20 parking, £15 petrol so far. Beavers tonight and tuck shop after school.

Ebay bidding up to £61 since this morning, all looking good so far... only 116 items to list, which I think I will leave until after I come back from London when I have an exact figure of how much I have made after fees & postage and set an aim for October! I WILL have the money for the bunkbeds for the boys by the end of october!!

  • Morning:)

A few figures first this morning:

Ebay total now standing at £87!! This means if the rest of my items I have listed only sell for 99p I will only need to list 93 more items to reach the money needed for the bunkbeds:D

There are only 6 days left of september and I have £144.25 left of my grocery challenge budget money. I am off to Tesco some point today and will be buying the rest of the food to last the month. I can't believe I have spent so little this month! I still have fairly full cupboards and food left in the freezer, although it is starting to run low... will update later after I come back.

Banking and spreadsheets done and adjusted. I think that september has been a successful month for me. I am hoping October will be even better.

    Aims for October:

    - Keep within grocery challenge budget, will be keeping it the same as I think this month might have been a fluke:D
    - I need to up petrol allowance as that is the one place I have gone over!
    - Start thinking about xmas for the rest of my family now I have list for kids sorted.
    - Go through septembers total spend as see where I can cut back
    - Finish listing items on ebay and hopefully buy DS2&3 bunkbed:D:T

I am sure there are more things I can think of when I am more awake:D

Managed to get rid of 2 items on freecycle yesterday so my total decluttered for September is now 48:)

I have another lasy coming to collect items for a jumble sale this morning so if she turns up I will add those to the total.

    Have a lovely day everyone!

  • Total spent in Tesco: £60.68. Grand total spent for September: £216.43:D Just one more shop next week for bread/milk/fruit and I will be finished!!!!:j Very under budget for the month (which levels out the extra petrol I have needed)

Ebay up to £114 now, the first lot is due to end in under 24 hours now, so fingers crossed they will have a few more bits in before then!

  • Morning all:)

Ebay items are starting to finish in the next few hours:) Bidding up to £154 now, although I am hoping that that will increase right at the end. We are really close to having the money for the bunkbeds, its quite exciting!:D DS1 has asked if we could do the same to get him a new bed after this has finished, I hope I have got enough stuff left to ebay:D

Banking and Spreadsheets done and budget for next month sorted! All looking very good for the lead up to xmas. Have a few presents bought already, but will start shopping in earnest from next month. Have a lot of birthdays to get through in October, but have bought all the cards already and one present.

Paperwork pile is surprisingly small for me as I have been ruthless with dealing with every letter etc that comes through the door! DS1 has had his photo taken for his bus pass so that should arrive sometime next week and I can claim back the money I have had to pay out for his daily ticket (£20 so far), would be nice to get this in time for going to London, but if not it will be nice to come back to!

Going on a hike with the beavers this afternoon and then DD has a party this afternoon, I shall be shattered by tonight:D All good fun though!

5 days left of september, the month has flown by! Off to keep my eye on my ebay listings, will report later the results!

I am mightily impressed by your ebay efforts and budgeting success :T Those bunk beds will be yours and DS1 will have his bed too I reckon by the end of next month!

    Have a good day x
