  • Morning:)

No alarm set this morning and I still wake up before 6am!

Yesterday was great, the hike was really good but very windy and the kids didn't moan once! After the hike they all had a hot dog and a biscuit. The party in the afternoon was fun too, I took DS2&3 with me. We didn't get in until 7pm and everyone was really tired by that point.

Some really good news......total ebay sales now at £201:) I have 20 items ending today, so hoping for it to go a little higher before they end. DS2 is really excited, he has been watching it the whole way with me and is looking forward to getting his new bed:D I have 18 items to pack up and label to go to the post office tomorrow so far although I am sure it will be more than that this time tomorrow.

Just 4 days until september is over! I have slightly adjusted the budget again and dropped the grocery money and increased the petrol. This is a more accurate reflection of my spending.

I really need to get a move on organising for my weekend away, as otherwise it will creep up on me and I won't have sorted everything in time!

    Off to make another cuppa:)

  • Ebay total now over £250:D Still quite a few left to sell over the next few days, so end result could be more. DS2 is really happy as we have now definately got the money for the bunkbeds, although I will wait until all monies have been recieved, fees paid and items posted before tallying up the total amount in, then I will order the bunk:) Next stop DS1's small double!

  • Morning all:)

DD is on inset day today but I fear we will be spending most of it in the post office:D Ebay total now at £259 with 29 items left to finish and bids on 11 of them. I have packed up the parcels for the people that have paid, paid my ebay fees up to date and withdrawn remainder of money in paypal account to my paypal top up card. I shall use it to pay for the postage.

I will probably order the boys bunks once the last parcel has been posted. It has been quite exciting watching the bids go up and up:) But it is nice to know that I am able to buy their new bed money neutral.

I still have a bag full of other items to list, I will start listing those after this lot have finished and we will start all over again towards DS1 bed:D

4 more days left in the month and I have money left in the grocery budget and things are going well.

I spoke to my sister yesterday and it turns out both of my sisters and their families are going to be in London next Saturday for the day as it is my nephews birthday. I am going to meet up with them for lunch:)

Busy week ahead again this week, lots on so need to be really organised. Think I will start packing the kids things for the weekend today if I have time, so that I don't have to think about it later in the week.

Better go and wake DS1 up now and have another cuppa:) Have a great day everyone!

  • Morning everyone!

Up early with DD this morning as she has been sick. No school for her today! She is lying on the sofa watching me type feeling very sorry for herself!

Sold 6 more items on ebay yesterday, packed a load off to the post office and have a load more to post today! Still waiting for lots of people to pay me. Have withdrawn more money onto my top up card today so that should clear by tomorrow.

The last few direct debits come out of my bank in the next few days so I can finalise Septembers account. It has been an expensive month! However, there have been definate upsides too. I will pop into tesco on thursday and do the last of the bread/milk, so there is also some for when I come back from London.

Spoke to the transport office yesterday, DS1 bus pass should be with us in the next few days together with a form for me to fill in attach the bus tickets and claim back the money I have spent, but that will take a couple of weeks to get back.

Time for another cuppa and a browse....

  • Morning:)

Managed to get rid of most of my parcels yesterday at the post office. Only 3 more to post today and I am waiting for a handful of people to pay. Also 5 items are ending today with bids on so I hope they pay quickly as tomorrow will be my last posting day before monday.

Paypal has a problem with their top ups apparently, all monies I have transferred since saturday have not hit my card yet!!!! I phoned CS yesterday and they said keep checking.....great!

DD off school again today as I have to keep her off for 48 hours. Parents evening at college tonight, may go and watch a film afterwards as I am 5 mins from cinema and have had to pay for a sitter anyway.

Will keep watching the paypal account today to see when money loads...bit pd off.

Money all on paypal card now thank goodness! Still waiting for money in so those parcels won't be sent until monday now, I have two to go today. Last direct debits have come out of the account for the money so everything is all finished for September and all set for 1st tomorrow with new budget:)

Started packing yesterday, but I have a lot to do today. Beavers tonight so I shan't get to bed quite late sorting the last few things out.

Parents evening went really well last night! They said such lovely things about DS1:) I was very proud, stayed longer than planned and missed the start of the film. Didn't matter as I was in such a happy mood about how well parents evening went:D

DD back to school today. Need to get all the kids stuff packed for the weekend too. I shall do most of that this morning.

Can't believe I am off to London tomorrow! So excited now!

Better go wake up DS1 now....have a great day everyone!
