Thanks beanie:) The more targets I set myself, the more I get things done, its when I cant be bothered to challenge myself everything goes to pot!

Woke up at 1am, couldn't get back to sleep. Went back to bed at 2.45 and finally managed to drop off about 3.15 only to wake again at 5! I feel a rather long nap coming on today!

Firstly, Lunches. Managed 1/7 yesterday:) So far so good. I am actually enjoying seeing what different lunches I can put together...I'm sure I am eating healthier as well as saving money!

Ebay: The last person has finally paid so I have withdrawn the money in paypal to top up card, after clearing fees. I will post the parcel today. Ebay posting is not included in my NSD challenge.

NSD's: Aiming for number 4 today. Apart from the post office, I am staying away from the shops.

Other spends from yesterday also included £7 cubs fees and £36.99 on a xmas present for DS1.

Scored another small bit of cashback yesterday, 36p not a lot but it all adds up:D

Banking all done, nothing out today so that was easy!

After school club for DS3 today so I need to go and collect him at 5.30. Will be doing a simple dinner tonight.

Went for a lovely walk with my friend and her dogs while DS3 was at cubs, I do love the exercise! Nice ramble and a natter!

The bathroom is on my blitz list today!

Have a great day everyone x

    Morning:)

Managed my NSD yesterday. Won't be one today as I thought as I need to buy something to wear to the funeral tomorrow. I also need to buy a Cub jumper for DS3 as he is being invested on Monday. I have £29 vouchers so I am hoping I don't need to spend any actual money on clothes for me, the Cub jumper I think will cost about £11. As I am going into town I will need to pay for parking and am trying to rack my brains to think if there is anything else I need to buy so I can do all my spending in one day.

Lunches are now 2/7 so far this week:D I am allowing £20 to cover breakfast out with the girls before the kids break up and one lunch out this month also. I want to get back to where these things are a 'treat' not the norm.

Cashback now tracked £132 on Quidco and £2.82 on card, need to up the ante with the £10 a day challenge and start earning that extra money.

I have moved some money into my savings account as I want to start building a small emergency fund. I know my washing machine is on it's last legs but don't want to add to the debt to get another one! Will be using it until it finally dies by then hopefully I will have saved/made enough money to cover it.

Right off for a cuppa, have a good day! x

    Morning:)

Funeral today, managed to buy myself something suitable to wear for it, spending less than the vouchers I had. Spent £1.23 in Morrisons and 40p on parking. while I was in town I took the library books back too.

Yesterday was also 3/7 for lunches and my cash back total is showing over £3 on my card now. I also found 35p:D

Budget for November is now pretty much sorted. DD and I are off to London on 12th for the weekend, everything is paid for except food and spending money. I am looking in to see what vouchers I can get for other things to do while we are there that wont cost the earth!

Have arranged to go to the cinema with a friend next week, will use my unlimited card and take some snacks with me! So just the sitter to pay for.

Keeping a strict eye on the budget which I have planned for the rest of the year. I know I need to make some more money, but if all goes well by new year my dad will be paid back and I will be in a much better position than I am now.

One of my direct debits will finish next year and this will free up £22.50 per month after June. I am trying very hard to lower my monthly outgoings as much as possible, but I think that is the last one to get rid of and I can't get it any lower, without feeling the pinch.

Managed to do a bit more decluttering yesterday, the dining room is starting to look much nicer, I think it would help if DD didnt keep bringing a toy down everytime she comes downstairs:D

Right, cuppa and a browse. Have a lovely day everyone!

    Morning:)

Beautiful service for the funeral yesterday, I was so very proud of my boys, they did have a few tears saying goodbye to their Grandad which I expected, and I think they are a bit happier now and less anxious as I think they had been worrying about what a funeral would be like. Everyone dressed so brightly and there were over 400 people there! Shows how well thought of he was.

I didn't wear the jumper I had bought, so that will be returned to the shop and I will get my vouchers back in my purse to be spent another time.

I am off to Tesco this morning, need a lot of everything again! Have nearly run out of all the staples: bread/milk/fresh stuff. I have a list so hoping I won't spend a huge amount.

A NSD yesterday and lunch was made at home so 4/7 this week for me:)

Banking done, most of DD's now due out last few days of the month so just waiting for them to go through. Not much left to do for October now. By this stage in the month, pretty much all spending is determined and doesn't differ from what has been planned.

Half term week coming up and we havent anything planned, which is the way we like it on the shorter one week holidays. Relaxing and winding down at home:)

Still have £168.97 left in Grocery Budget but I expect to wipe out a fair bit of that today. Will update on my return.

Have a lovely friday everyone x

Back from Tesco and I spent £66.90

Food : £37.89 (will last until monday)
    Christmas: £21.95
    Medicine: £1.50
    Sweets for kids: £4.09
    Household Supplies: £1.47

Total grocery spend so far this month: £148.92
Total left to spend: £131.08 to cover 13 days remaining @ £10.08 per day

    Should be easy to achieve!

Kids sweets are enough for two weeks worth as I bag them up on a friday so have some leftover to carry over to next week.

Also changed my house insurance this morning, paid for in one go via debit card and saved £8.38, went through Quidco so now £75 tracking for that:) I now have enough money in Quidco to cover the cost of DS1 new bed once it pays out!!

    A great morning's work:)

    Morning:)

A little lie in this morning but I have woken up with a headache and my eyes are hurting again. I am glad my opticians appointment is next week, I really need some new glasses!

Hoping for a NSD today. Not planning on going anywhere as I have a lot to do around the house today. My dad came over yesterday and took a load of rubbish to the dump for me so my back garden is looking fab now!

I ended up buying another xmas present last night. Total cost £130 but got two lots of cashback and clubcard points too. My bank account is looking a little sadder now but it was a planned expense and I am glad to have got it ordered and out of the way.

    Have a good saturday everyone!

Thanks Hypno, and I like the new avatar!

Morning all. Monday again! I dont know where the weeks go! Off to Tesco this morning and also the opticians to get my eyes tested and will be getting new glasses too.

Banking done and spreadsheets updated. Nothing much going on in that area as most of my bills go out either at the beginning of the month or the very end!

Still well within grocery budget although after todays shop I will have a better idea of exactly how much I should be under this month. But I will be under.

Feeling full of cold today:( Off to have another cuppa!
