Hello pixie chick, am so glad you are not a dentist. I see you as a little angel person who looks like Princess Diana. I would have been scared if you were a dentist. A forensic pathologist asked me out once. I was sooo scared. He chopped people up for a living so i said no. What would we talk about?????

Regarding my chav speak. I am rather proud of myself. Until i studied my 2nd degree i had never heard anyone say 'bloke'. Someone called me 'love' in a bar in my first degree and i was mortified. When we were kids my parents did not let me watch Grange Hill or Benny Hill as they were unsavoury.

Crumbs, times have changed. I have been watching Jeremy Kyle to learn things.

I agree with your parents re Benny Hill. I can't imagine anyone thinking that he was funny - especially that stupid song about the milkman!

You should have married the forensic pathologist - they earn an absolute fortune!

People think i am bonkers. My mum is most upset. I discovered it whilst on sick leave last year. I had to train my eye to see again after bad eye infection. I was very fortunate to keep my sight. That's why i have to be part time at work as next time i will lose it!!!! Panic.

I was stoned on many (legal) drugs and slept for 22 hours a day. I could only watch tv for one, two, three minutes a day etc and i had to make myself watch a tv programme. The only time i was awake was breakfast so i discovered our Jeremy!!!! And the rest is history.

    I love it.

Ok, i've had a chance to think (plus I spoke with fermi) and being honest I think what I originally advised would still be perfectly acceptable.

    Personally, I wouldn't.

Regardless or the legality (which I'm by no means 100% on), I do feel it might be taking the p1s$ just that bit much.

Should any of the accounts end up in court, many judges have shown that they are not above making moral judgements rather than legal ones over debts. And this is one thing I think might really annoy a judge.

    Just my opinion.....

Pixie - have a think and post me a reply if you have any questions and i'll be back in morning - I need to walk the dog and sort some sleep cos i'm up at 4am!

I may pop in later, but if not i'll be here at 5am ish and will reply then.... but you should think about this, at the end of the day it is better than bankruptcy and also leaves you in complete control, i'm sure Ann will tell you the truth - yea it is daunting, but deep down you remain in control at all times - you hold the ace card - NOT them.

G'nite, speak to you all soon.....

Fermi, you know I respect your decision but it's never going to go to court mate.

But it'd never end up in court - we both know that fermi. Also the fact making minimum repayments for a few months will provide backing against that.

I used the following scenario in my message to george, which will explain it better:
Ok, I understand where you're coming from but this would require civil prosecution which would cost more in the long run, it would set precedent for banks to sue customers and the CCA will still protect her anyway, as she is at the time utilising available credit by transferring balances in the hope it makes her monthly repayment lower for the forseeable future. It makes sense to repay one card as opposed to 8 different ones.

However maybe in a few months she may enquire about its enforceability and therefore prepare and send a s.78 request, all perfectly within the act (cca1974) - thus overruling any possible fraud civil case, due to her querying the actual valiidy of the agreement in the first place.
Obviously she'd not advertise to the courts that she was playing this game, would she? :D:D:D
