What if we can take the risk or deception part out of the equation?
I know it's not as final as unenforcability, but if Pixie is on JSA, could she be eligible for a Debt Relief Order (DRO)?
The accounts that are older and possibly unenforcable, we could look through and check if they were properly executed. If they were, how much debt would this leave?
For a DRO there are certain requirements for you to qualify:

George - I'm not eligible for a DRO - debts are £27000 and my car is worth more than £300.
Thanks for the input though0 -

George - do you mean to cca the ones which are unenforceable and then go for DRO? My car is worth (slightly) more than £1000 and by September/October I will be working0
