Hi Niddy,
No, I was doing other things!
But it is very mind-boggling stuff!

Evidently :rotfl::rotfl: You need to be certain before you can proceed....pixiechick wrote: »No I haven't any Capital One credit card cheques
Ok - no probs.......Leave this as planned, so it will be closed down etc...
pixiechick wrote: »So....what can I do given that (at the moment) I don't have any credit card cheques? Do you think it would e okay to phone and ask for some or will it 'flag' something? Also, have I 'damaged' the unenforceability in any way by sending the letters a few weeks ago with my signature?
If you're happy with things you should try and do the BT's onto this card as advised, at which point we send CCA's off to the others and pay these off (see big post explaining this in detail above). This way the only accounts you'll be left with is the Lloyds one and the overdraft.
The rest would be paid off other than the things we'll go for the CCA with.
Basically you'll have one card and one overdraft to *pay* with 1 loan and 3 cards being unenforceable then you'll have the rest closed as paid off/satisfied accounts.
The last things, i.e. overdraft and Lloyds card will be sorted, overdraft will fall into arrears and we will get them to accept a reduced payment and then the Lloyds card will be CCA'd last of all. Obviously you'd have to make some cash withdrawals to make the payments and pay the overdraft - more about this later....
I need you to be happy with and understand things before you do anything I mention! Do not go ahead with anything at this stage - if you're happy overall, then I will detail in a lot of specific detail - what to do and when to do it2010 - year of the troll

Hi SW,
I am around - but may go to bed in a little while! Because I was up early this morning - for a change!
You sound really chilled out - long may it continue!
And I don't think you a chav (even though I agree with Niddy on most things!)"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
Hello pixie chick, am so glad you are not a dentist. I see you as a little angel person who looks like Princess Diana. I would have been scared if you were a dentist. A forensic pathologist asked me out once. I was sooo scared. He chopped people up for a living so i said no. What would we talk about?????
Regarding my chav speak. I am rather proud of myself. Until i studied my 2nd degree i had never heard anyone say 'bloke'. Someone called me 'love' in a bar in my first degree and i was mortified. When we were kids my parents did not let me watch Grange Hill or Benny Hill as they were unsavoury.
Crumbs, times have changed. I have been watching Jeremy Kyle to learn things.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
So.... then all my debts will be gone... apart from the possible exception of the overdraft? Cash withdrawals from the credit card?
Sorry if I'm coming across as a bit thick - I'm not, except on financial matters0 -

Sorry I missed this, no you have not - do not worry, as I say - if you can beat the moral argument about spending on the Lloyds card then you're half way there as immediately your debts will drop to that one card to pay - the rest will be pretty much forgotten (albeit you'll have a wee bit of phone hassle when cease repayments)....

Oi have you rested today?
I am impressed if you mowed your grass after getting home from work.

No, the debts remain for upto 6 years in case they find the original agreement - it then becomes cleared by way of Statute Barred (Limitations Act).
However if they are unenforceable now, they will remain so. You need to have a thick skin - i.e. you'll get letters and hassle on the phone, but so what? You'll be stress free.... Plus i'll be here telling you what to do...
Cash withdrawals, i.e. withdraw a few hundred to ensure you have the £300 per month repayments for the lloyds card! Or it could then be classfied as deception, i.e. our moral dilemma earlier
Yea, you're reading this right - i'm saying withdraw like £300 per day for 5 days in a row from your lloyds card, then use the funds to pay the min payment to the card when it becomes due - this buys you time. Its called taking from peter to pay, ermmm peter haha
Make sense - yet? :rotfl:2010 - year of the troll
