Frightened about my future

I rent my home and don't have any other assets apart from my car, so my situation is different to hers.
I thought that I had 2 credit cards which were post 2007, with debts totalling £10000, but just realised that one might actually be from 2006. I have another credit card which was taken out in early 2007 but I have a copy of the agreement for that. I was trying to be good and get 0% and low life of balance transfers.I also have a loan which is enforceable and an overdraft of just under £2000. I have debts on other credit cards (including one from my bank) where I've had the cards for years and years but have made balance transfers on to them and used credit card cheques.
What do you think? My income is very erratic, which is partly why my debt situation has arisen.
Hiya
Can you confirm, are you happy to ruin your credit rating and attempt unenforceability? I will not let anything happen to you, don't worry! BUT following UE will ruin your credit file?
If you're happy to take the chance, then can you list the accounts and start dates with balances? The fact you have used the accounts (older ones) and done BT's etc means nothing - its the original agreement i'm interested in, not expenditure (as that has no bearing on UE)
Its up to you, I can possibly help - but need a proper list like below:
Barclays - Credit Card - Started 01/01/2000 - Balance £5000 - Uptodate/Default/In arrears etc
Thanks....2010 - year of the troll

This is obviously an expert Niddy question!
But if it was me, I would still risk it! As before, what do you have to lose?"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

I have (or had until I said I couldn't make the minimum payment) another £27500 of 'available' credit including a credit limit of £15000 with Lloyds TSB! My debt at the moment stands around £27000 and my credit rating was excellent, even though I was robbing Peter to pay Paul. So the financial institutions definitely need to share the blame.
Based on the above, you could consider buying out the overdraft and other enforceable cards using this limit, assuming this card is older and not a brand new one issued recently? That would leave you able to invoke unenforceability across the board - or at least a high percentage anyway? As I asked above, please provide a list and i'll be able to advise better
p.s. roughly how old are you, sorry but it does affect any advice to a degree.....
Do NOT go for B/R though - that's plain bonkers! :eek:2010 - year of the troll

Yea but don't worry, I can spot a copy document a mile away plus they have to actually declare it which means you study the signature and try and remember whether it is recent (copy) or older (original).
Don't worry too much about this right now.....2010 - year of the troll

Am I allowed to transfer my overdraft and balances from other cards and then try for unenforceability? My overdraft is with the same bank as the card. I also have another credit card account (don't have the card) which has a £5750 credit limit and nothing owing on it. I haven't used it for years.
How do I find out when I took the cards out? I've had some of them for donkey's years.
BTW I'm 53 and the thought of retirement in the not-too-distant future is what got me really thinking about my debts.0 -

You need to go back to my older post before I can answer any of the questions above! Without a list of accounts etc then it's near on impossible to advise. I was thinking using a CC cheque, pay it into your bank to cover the o/d and then BT any newer card balances onto the older card etc... make sense? (do not do this yet - its only my thinking aloud at this stage)
Regards to finding out their start dates, you need your most recent Experian & Equifax credit file or just guess, you should know "roughly" what year you took the card out? I don't need a post date, just an approximate year...2010 - year of the troll
