I did bring my chicken soup in yesterday, with fruit and bread from home, and it was lovely. My dinner last night was the leftover takeaway from Sunday.

Then, this morning, I found out my flatmate ate the second portion of chicken soup yesterday, so I am lunchless today! Tomorrow will be sandwiches and fruit, but today I will have to go and buy something, since I had no time to throw anything into a bag.

4/14 so far - shipment of fail!

  • 3/3 so far, chicken noodle cup-a-soup (Tesco value but it's great) and a wholemeal roll with fruit for afters today.

got tonight's leftovers from dinner to take for tomorrow so it's going well so far, it really helps sharing our ideas.

And betty, don't be down, even 4 homemade lunches is 4 you didn't buy, and 4 savings!

Bargain Betty - Charliegirl is right, think positive, you've done FOUR already!! That is not failure, it is great - Go You!!! :T

I had a HM lunch today but spoiled things a bit with a coffee and bun from Starbucks when a power cut drove me outside at lunchtime, so today is a spendy day for me.
  • Hi everyone I just wanted to say that I felt like a king yesterday with my lunch + dinner (I worked the late shift 12-8) of ham nd salad sandwich (hm bread) nd left over chicken supreme, after Tuesday's horror of ripe (read pratiically mouldy) banana and wheatabix... Let's hope its just as satisfying today as it was yesterday! so far so good 4/18 hm...:rotfl:

You're right - four HM lunches is still 4 HM lunches..... Today, left over chicken and rice. Yum.

5/14 - thanks for the support! We are all making differences, no matter at what level!

Leftover salmon teriyaki fillet with couscous and broccoli today! Had another terrible urge for takeaway coffee and an iced bun - cravings are unbelievable at the moment, I am eating any rubbish food in sight :-(((( but managed to resist.

    Hope everyone's doing well
