grumble, grumble....three ickle things. its my birthday next this week...

actually birthday is proving a problem...I kinda don't need anything much...don't want things for the sake of things. I often have a list , because I'm a little bit fussy:o and never want anything in particular so it helps my family if they know what I actually want to have to use.

I'm also going to be all by my lonesome on my birthday (everyone is away) and so every one keeps saying I should treat myself..but what on earth too?

There is a space NK thinkgy on, but not going, last months spend was due to a space NK thingy.

I'd like to dye some silk, so had thought about asking for the stuff for that little project, but it needs to be the right weather, and it isn't now, which means it will get put in a cupboard and forgotten about for ages, and I want to cut down on clutter.

Yeah, I'll just buy the one....:o
  • I've been keeping up with the thread but not actually posting anything lately. I've used up the odd product here and there like deodorant, but nothing exciting. I had to throw a sanctuary eye cream the other day which I know I've had over 2 years as I noticed it was a yellowy weird colour when it used to be white. I'm hopeless at using things like eye cream so why I bought it I'll never know.

I just wanted to say I've noticed on reading the thread that most people seem to go mad for the bargains/offers, buy stacks of the same thing, and then when they get around to using it find they don't like the stuff and have to spend months using stuff they don't like? :rotfl:It's not until you keep reading it that you realise that's what you yourself do too. A lightbulb moment.

That is the biggest lesson this thread has taught me, and I'm really grateful to everyone for it. :T When I need to buy new products in the future I'll spend what I want on products I love using and not have all the clutter to boot. It's a win win situation.

Aw sorry - if it's your birthday you should defintitly treat yourself to it :)

It's my birthday next week as well - my friends love it when I give them lists. But all I could think of this year was some fake eyelashes, which I really want to try. Still, they normally buy me jewellery and they have way better taste than I do, so I'm always happy :)

Hopw about treating yourself to a facial or professional manicure/pedicure and trip to the cinema on your birthday?

Hi everyone, hope your all having a lovely friday :j

Today I have finished a Loreal conditioner... yippeeee!!

Been to Boots this aft and bought Simple moistoriser that I do actually need. A pencil sharpener that I also need because if I don't buy one I'll have to buy a new brow pencil. Also a new eyeshadow brush that I deffo need... but I used my £5 voucher on this so only spent £5 in all. My OH has got a very sore ankle so we couldn't walk round too much which maybe helped me not buying too much :D I went in with a plan and I stuck to it :T
