  • I love the Bodyshop Peppermint range. I'm obsessed with my feet looking good for Summer too and this range has worked for me.

Don't mention The Body Shop to me steerpiker ... my newly found addiction to buying from their online site (10 orders since feb:eek:) is the reason I need this thread:rotfl:
I used to use their peppermint foot stuff years ago though and would like to try it again ... once I use up some of the stash of creams and lotions I have uncovered from my Cupboard of Shame then I might have to indulge ... notice how my challenge has not yet properly begun and already I am looking for ways to break it ... oh dear :o

Ive just used a huge blob of my horrible botanics body butter to moisturise my handbags (i have two but hardly ever use them !!!) - if they still look ok later, IM tempted to put it on my shoes and my horses tack..... :)

  • Hi all. Oops, have gone over my budget today as had to buy some gilette razors, which although wasn't a very exciting purchase, was definately necessary! Still, this thread has definately worked a treat as have been lots better this month at not buying lots of random things in Boots that I don't need :). Will try and get it to £10 or under in April...

    Hey gang

Havent been posting as absolutely nothing to report but am getting to the bottom of the Carex shower gel so have been looking ( and putting back) many shower gels as they are not what I wanted. *rolleyes*

Have gone for my first ever bodyshop order though today- the coconut set on offer so I jsut bought 4 for 16 quid, which is absolutely amazing. One is for a present though ( maybe) .If thats the case and the person gets one of the co!!!! ones, that means ( sigh) the botanics set I got and put away for Xmas will end up getting used by me :( Im jsut not that into Boots botanics tbh, most of it seems distinctly average. :o

Talking of which - the botanics cream I got recently reduced has brought me out in a rash on using it- would I be ok to take this back im not sure it is still being made?
I thought if anyone would know you lot would

How long does body shop really take to come - 4 days or 6? Im hoping I can stretch out the carex till then, I suppose Ive one of the M&S mini bubble baths I can use instesad of shower gel if it comes to it.

Hope everyones well, I am still sticking with it!

Finally managed to have my hair cut- its really short and need 2x blowdry a day to stay in shape- might get round to using all these styling products that have been sitting about since time immemorial.*rolleyes*

Finished another deod - massive excitement! I haven't bought any product for nearly 2 weeks. I'm so glad I never really got into the Body Shop :rotfl:
  • I have a holdall of shame - it's actually in the loft, weighs a ton. Mostly the result of my trips to UK (I live in RO Ireland). We don't have Wilko, Poundland, Bodycare etc - so whenever I'd visit I'd stock up. It was a sad day when Ryan Air started charging such exhorbitant fees for baggage, and hubby said 'a week in UK, why can't you just take a 10kg hand luggage?!' arrrggghhh! and everything had to be those 100ml bottles. Still a chance to conquer my addictions. I was thinking - we don't buy, we just come here to talk about it almost like AA!
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

  • Hey lynzpower - my bodyshop orders have been taking close to a week I would say when they are on free delivery - that said some people report them arriving in 48 hours.
Four of those coconut sets for less than the price of one is a great deal - managed to resist ... see I can do it when I put my mind to it...

BS Coconut is my total favourite ever and if this challenge has taught me one thing "only buy what you like"

I have never bought it full price though, usually get it in samples or for a gift.
