Forgot to paint my nails, will do this later tonight. Nothing else finished, and received a full size free sample of Simple lip moisturiser in the post yesterday! Hubby was commenting that he thought I was meant to be using stuff up, not getting more! In my defense though it was free and I don't think it will last very long, just don't tell him about the other freebies I've signed up for0

Freebies are fine in this challenge...............in fact they are to be actively encouraged as a way of getting a mini-toiletries-fix for free and a chance to advise the rest of us in a WIBA review, without spending any £££££!!0 -

If you liked the cream, then you could be fairly confident the mask would be ok on your skin at least.
I’ve also tried a botanics moisturising mask in the past which was good, and probably a lot cheaper than Clarins
Last night I managed to finish the dregs of an old shampoo I didn’t like by using it to clean the bathroom with a sponge I wanted to throw! So another shampoo gone, and a nice new puff extracted from the stash, hurrah!

Well I didn't even get past day 1 - I'd hang my head in shame but my purchase was totally justifiable.
Here goes:-
On Saturday I got contant lenses after wearing glasses for a very long time - I'm long sighted. I've been waxing lyrical on here about how I've stopped using eye cream because my eye bags seemed to have got better and I wasn't sure if it was down to my new healthy eating regime. How deluded have I been? Now that I can see my bags (as the only way I could see them before they were shielded by glasses) they are horrendous. Felt like crying. Tried my old concealer on and it just caked and smudged everywhere so last night I had a trip out to John Lewis and bought a tub of Benefit Erase Paste and have started using my eye creams again.
Knowing Benefit the pot will last for ages.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

For anybody else who is desperately curious like me and trying to decipher the above from fixx's post: :rotfl:

lol, thanks for that, I don't know what happened! Have now gone back and changed the font - was originally coming up fine on my screen?!
Btw, just had a look on the Boots site to see if I coudl find the Botanics mask, but no joy, think it must have been discontinuedIt was this: http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/skin-care/boots-botanics-quenching-face-mask/
Edit: Ahhhh, just found the intensive hair conditioner I used to love back on there! I thought it was discontinued and gone forever!!!! :T:j:T:j Right, when I get through the rest I'm trying that again - this was by far the best intensive mask I ever used, but I haven't tried it in a few years...

I was just intrigued to find out whether you were using code to try and confess that you had fallen off the wagon.....

Well, I had a couple of tubs of bath whip from Sainsbury's for Xmas, one was orange and one was cranberry and they are in a swirly pattern in the tub, almost layered with what looks like cream. Got in the bath last night, got a big handful out of the jar and tried to later it up, it went all lumpy and floated in the water, really horrible. I looked at the instructions and it said use a handful and rub into skin. Got out of the bath really disappointed, I was looking forward to it. I read the ingredients later and could see no mention of anything that would lather up. So I rubbed it into dry skin and it was still lumpy. Although after a lot of serious rubbing it soaked in and my skin felt amamzingly soft. I take it this is a body "butter" type product rather than a bath product. It is so strange and hard to rub in and I can't believe I have two
Had to buy some shampoo today, if I had have known about the Tesco hitch I would have gone in there yesterday, but I avoid the grabbit board like the plague!!!!! I bought a Tresemme one, because it was on BOGOF, the conditioner can go into the cupboard for use later on, also bought a boots serum, I am getting low on mine and thought I would try this as it was cheap. I also needed a new foundation, so used the voucher and got the No7 mousse for £6.00. I was going to try the new benefit one, but funds won't stretch that far.
Have a dress on order from the Next catalogue, I am off to a party on Thurs night and needed (Yes, needed) something to wear. It has been so long since I have been out, I have nothing smart casual, only jeans or work suits....ex-husband will be there and need to look amazing.
Sold some more bits and pieces on ebay so hopefully this will fund my dress purchase, if I keep it.8 months to go till end of the IVA :j:rotfl::T0 -
I've just been into town. I was in Superdrug and their whole Vitamin E range (and also the Natural High range) is reduced. Most things in the Vitamin E range were £1.22... including the vitamin E facial oil, facial scrub, eye cream with SPF, big tubs of moisturiser, etc.
I bought the Vit E eye cream as I used to use the Body Shop's, and I don't have any eye cream left. Was tempted by the facial oil too but put it back. So, spent £1.22.0 -
