No buying toiletries in March challenge!

I took part in my own Paint Your Nails Tuesday (not sure why I didn't do it on Monday) last night with a pale pink No7 nail polish - I am actually not that keen on the colour, so not sure what I am going to do with it. I will try a bolder colour next week (maybe on a Monday this time)...
I also used up some more random eye cream/moisturiser sachets yesterday, a mini bottle of Clean on Me S&G shower gel and a mini tin of Nivea Creme. WIBA? Yes to the Shower gel although I prefer 'Clean Girls' and I have a couple of bottles of that in my stash - so actually probably no is actually that answer to that. No to the Nivea creme, this was a freebie, but I don't like it as it is too thick and doesn't soak into my skin... I musch prefer my other moisturisers and body butters!
I haven't moved my stash back into my bathroom yet after the plumber coming around yesterday, so it is still in pretty much every room of my flat... An electrician is coming over on Monday, so after he leaves, it is all going back in place...I'm buying No More Toiletries, I'm Deluttering and I'm Losing Weight for 2010!0 -
I don't even want to know what the Tesco glitch is! Yesterday I finished a bottle of Aussie shampoo. Have two already in stockpile as they were half price recently.
Yesterday, went shopping in Sainsbury's and didn't even look at the toiletries section!
Am going to paint my nails today. Think I'll wear Leighton Denny Sophisticated.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

This really is the best way. For years supermarkets have been much smaller to me than many as I don't go down packet food aisles, magazine aisles, crisp and confectionery aisles......there is the green grocer bit, the meat bit, the dairy bit, the cleaning and loo roll bits....the wine bits....:T:T any thing ese is an adventure fraught with danger...:o:o0 -
Finished an Avon handwash this morning. WIBA? Definitely, although have 3 in my stash, it lasted me and OH about 3 months which is brilliant.
Had my delivery of SBC products from QVC today but that doesn't count as i bought them in February.
So far in March £0 spent on toiletries.0 -
I'm going into the bathroom cabniet today to sort it out.
I have to make a decision on jars/pots. I tend to keep ones I find attracive, yet not use them for anything...ideas anyone?0 -
Lostinrates, it depends, if you find the pots and stuff attractive then keep them. If they aren't in the right place or are cluttering the place up, you know what to do! (PS I am bad at this too!!)
Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Depends what they look like - I use some as small plant pots for windowsills for growing flowers/herbs in - I think a mixed collection of small, colourful tubs looks great
Otherwise, great for storing spare buttons in as someone else has said, or a collection of sachets/samples, pen/pencil holder on desk, makeup brush holder, odd earrings (might just be me, but i tend to lose one earring at a time, and then find it later - so I put all the odd ones in a pot, and then when I find one I can search the pot, and often reunite them :rotfl:)...?0 -
OK, I just threw away a little blue jar too small to be useful.....I have fluttering heart and fingers itching to lift it out of the recycling box.....0

I love little pretty jars too, just haven't got any. When I moved my brother dropped a box with them in and they all smashed, so starting again on collecting them.
The dress came from Next, it was gorgeous and looked lovely, but not quite what I wanted for the party so I took it back. :T
Used up a small pot of Burts bees almond beeswax hand cream. WIBA definately, but so many to use before that day comes....
Used new foundation today and it went on a treat and doesn't look beige!!8 months to go till end of the IVA :j:rotfl::T0
