No buying toiletries in March challenge!

Well, in the last few days I've opened and finished a small Lush gift set and a Father Frost soap. I'm nearly at the end of a tube of Aveeno (probably one more app left) WIBA? Yes, very moisturising, not greasy and absorbed into skin pretty qickly. Unfragranced, so didn't clash with my perfume.
And speaking of perfume... I'm afraid I have to confess to a small spend today that was totaly nneccessary. Boots had 75% off all Urban Retreat products, including the fragrance, and I just couldn't resist. In my defence, I did use a £5 gift voucher so I only actually spent £1.23. Still, I hang my head in shame...0 -

When my Nan died the undertakers came round to let us choose what sort of service, coffin etc we wanted. Now, bear in mind this was a matter of a few months after the fire which seriously damaged Windsor Castle. We agreed that she wanted a cremation, so that was easy done, and he then got out his book of "cremation suitable coffins". I should mention at this point that my Nan had been suffering from Alzheimers for several years, and at the time she died (which was peacefully, in her sleep) it was getting to the stage where her quality of life was pretty poor, so Mum and I were, at this stage, more relieved than anything else for her - other emotions kicked in later. He started leafing through the book, pointing out the "advantages" of this coffin over the next. He then came to the one he clearly wanted us to go for which he then told us was their "Best-selling Windsor Casket"...well, Mum and I just looked at each other and started to crack......we both got the giggles. The more we tried to stop, the worse it got, until the poor undertaker was staring at us clearly wondering what on earth was going on! Even now, one of us only has to say the phrase "Windsor coffins" for the pair of us to roll up!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Evening! Ooh I love this thread, it's keeping me out of Boots, which is pretty amazing for me. The thought of having to 'confess' has kept my willpower going!!
My only buy has been some coconut and honey shampoo for 60p from Somerfield - haven't used it yet but basically looks the same as the Boots coconut one. Not sure what it'll be like but thought it was worth a go for that price0 -
I am trying to buy no toiletries again this month!
I am just avoiding going into Lush!

Right, who was it who encouraged the epilation...come on, step up....I want a word with you!
Its kinda fun.....
I'm wondering how used to it to get before trying mor sensitive zones....I was so nervous I though that it would be horrendous, but its ok, just a bit wary of tender bits/underarms from what I've read on online reviews about bruising and catching skin....
my skin barely goes oink on the legs, I could go straight out after moisturising. I've done it wet and dry and, um, yeah, had a practice swipe on DH's back....0 -
OMG - Ive only not been in here since the beginning of March - and HOW many pages already???!!!!!!!!!
Hello to all you newbies !!
Well I think I should only need to buy deodorant this month - but I also need to clear out my make-up. Im 5 days in to my Benefit facial wash and moisturiser, and its made a real difference - so Im tempted to have my clear out (hugely needed - most of my make up is mank !!) soonish and take advantage of this 15% off code....
then start going out more so I use make up properly !!!!
Other than that - I dont think I need anything much - so hopefully wont be too naughty. Am looking forward to seeing the look on my mums face when she sees her present - hope she likes it !!!
good luck everyone !! xxxDo not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -

Brill!!!!!!!!! Which one did you get, hope you don't mind me askingI'm so glad to hear it wasn't as bad as expected. What did your DH make of it? I can't believe he let you even try it on him lol. Theres no way in the world my OH will.
Mine has been dispatched and I got the email to say so at 4pm today. I'm maybe a bit optimistic that it'll turn up tomorrow but stranger things have happened :T I bet the plug adapter doesn't though hehe. I have specially unshaven legs ready for the big momentMind you I've even got unshaven arm pits... maybe that'll be asking too much too soon :rotfl: I'm so excited and am really hoping this is the end to my leg shaving issues :T BRING ON THE PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On the toiletries issue... not used anything up or bought anything. I've got so much on my plate atm that it haven't got time to think about toiletries... I even got into bed last night without washing my face. By the time I'd remembered the bed was too comfy and warm and I could barely keep my eyes openEven if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -

I HAVE to go to a Lush on Sunday (support a freind who is organising games for an event there) - and I shall be trying very hard not to succumb.
I joined in Jan and have continued since (note the sig) but forget to renew each month. Still not much of a dent in my ridiculous sized hoard.Put the kettle on.0 -
I've used up my make-primer from Laura Mercier. Lovely product, would love to buy it again but it's too expensive for me just now, although it did last for ages. Looking for recommendations. I'm thinking Body Shop or GOSH as they are a bit cheaper than others but there's also a Primark one in packaging very similar to Benefit which I might get because it's cheap + the packaging is cute. If I ever manage to get round to using up all my shower gel I think I would like to try S&G but was just wondering what everyone's preferences are between Clean Girls and Clean on me. After looking at it on the Boots website (and yes I was only looking
) I think I am leaning towards Clean Girls. Which one does everyone else prefer?
I haven't tried Clean Girls yet but I read those reviews on the Boots website too and can't understand why I ended up with Clean on MeInfact I've just realised that I shouldn't of even bought it because I have a tube of i-foam that was in my hatbox at xmas
OMG I need to be a lot more organised and aware of whats going on. Sometimes I just don't think which is obviously my main problem  Hmm I don't want to have them both opened but one already is... AAAAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!
Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0
