Freebies are fine in this challenge...............in fact they are to be actively encouraged as a way of getting a mini-toiletries-fix for free and a chance to advise the rest of us in a WIBA review, without spending any £££££!!0

Bought a bottle of Dreamy Skin in Tesco for £1, annoyed with myself. Had decided I would buy nothing at all this month. Can't even last two days. Pathetic!0

I haven't read thread since my last post...I will read back tomorrow ladies,
just wanted some approval...
DH and I were klling time browsing shops in a town we've never been to together, while I waited for an appointment today, and I saw a very lovely makeup pallet, in serious and sensible grown up colours....no parot green in sight...it was 75% off and I picked it up and cradled it, DH encouraged me, jumping to his wallet....and I.
put it back on the shelf.
I'm wearing green sparkly eyeshadow today, who needs neutrals?0 -
Edit: Ahhhh, just found the intensive hair conditioner I used to love back on there! I thought it was discontinued and gone forever!!!! :T:j:T:j Right, when I get through the rest I'm trying that again - this was by far the best intensive mask I ever used, but I haven't tried it in a few years...
http://www.boots.com/en/Botanics-3-Minute-Deep-Conditioning-Hair-Mask-450ml_35511/They're good. I got them when they were 2 for £5 and 200 points back or something similar. Unfortunately, they no longer include the mask on the 2 for £5 deal when they do it

Mineallmine, thanks, I have made a note in my diary to try this product next time I need a moisturiser, should save me a smallar fortune if I like this product. Like Bramble1 I used to use clarins hydra quench cream but have now changed to LE skin repair moisturiser for dry/sensivtive skin for £17.25 (50 ml) which is the best moisturiser I have used for my dehydrated skin. By the way, can anyone recommend a rich facial mask for dehydrated skin? Good luck to you all in March. I enjoy reading your posts on this thread. Becky
Hi Becky, no problem. I usually use Clarins (I have blue Hydra one open at the mo). But am alternating it with the Nivea soft one (which is a massive 200ml pot and so I don't feel guilty being generous with it). I like LE too and buys bits and pieces. Her intensive moisturing mask is ok, is about £12 I think.
Nothing used up. I can lots of people struggling to avoid deals like the Tesco one, if you use the stuff then that has to be ok. This is MSE after all and only here would you have us coughing to spending £1.22 - now that's impressive. :ADeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

I resisted the Tesco deal. I actually went to tesco and spent ages looking at the products, but realised that I really didn't need them, and most of them give me spots on my scalp anyway, so I'd rather put the money towards something else (even just £2!). If they'd had one that didn't have SLS in it I'd have tried that, as I think I'll try to go SLS-free when I've finished my stash.0
