Spent the whole morning cleaning out the cubby in the kitchen - it was full of arty/crafty kid's stuff and things like potters wheel, soft stuff moulds and lots of spirography stuff. They are a bit old for all this so I've kept some paint and collagey bits and the rest I will have to sort and pass on - that will be a couple of days work! The kids haven't jumped on them and demanded I make soft stuff etc so I think they're clear to go!
I also set the PC to de-frag and it took 5 hours! - it hadn't been done for months but is set for every Weds now. Definitely seems faster so thank you for this.
Other than that I've not done much but will have a good go tomorrow. (I think I've said that before:o)

Evening All, sorry I have not posted this week, my gran did die on Sunday just shortly after my post, so its been a strange sort of week. She had a lovely funeral service today and she is now at peace so we are happy she no longer has to suffer.

On the flylady side of things, my house has turned to absolute chaos, so I ask Toots if I can be excused this week due to our bereavement, and look forward to joining you all again next week, for some lovely cleaning work, hope everyone is well. Kalojac x

OK, a bit more decorum. Sorry for that jubilatory outburst.

I have a grin like a Cheshire cat at the moment.

Thank you all so much for your vibes.

    The traffic behaved itself!

Got DD to the dentist's surgery in good time. She'd taken the prescribed valium to calm her nerves and was a bit dopey but not as anxious as she would have been. I sat with her in the waiting room but once she went in to The Room, I pottered off up the High Street and got a couple of bits in.

Pottered back and sat in the waiting room and could hear her going "Aaargh - that hurts! Ow! Ow! Ow! ... I'm sorry, I'm sorry.." Then there was a bit of quiet and then some almost hysterical laughter.

It's not easy being a Mum!

Then she came out, minus two wisdom teeth and really was as high as kite what with the relief and the remains of the valium.

I took a back route back home and thankfully the traffic was minimal. Got her safely indoors, with instructions to go to bed then went to the nearby suburb to do the planning speech.

Again the traffic was a dream! So I thank you all again for those powerful vibes.

Did the speech and listened to the debate. I am still grinning like that cat at the refusal and the reasons for it. There was one angle brought up by a Councillor that I'd not even considered and it's stitched the applicant up like a kipper! I shall so remember that angle in future! Oh, by the way, the refusal goes against the officer's recommendation to approve!

Got home and DD is now in pain and sore as is to be expected but she's coping. Potato, leek and ham soup is just about ready so I'll go serve up.

Thank you again flyladies for your vibes.

Sorry I've not had a chance to catch up properly but I promise to do better in future.

Flying? Ummmm I've put some stuff in the dishwasher and have made HM soup

Sorry my flylady friends, minimal flying again this week apart from washing up and WM loads and airer drying

Feel really run down again and have been having early nights and my eyes have reacted again to something and it makes me feel run down

On a brighter note, a slightly challenging day at work and I printed off the lists for the week ready to make a start on 1-2 rooms tomorrow after the Dr's and make a start then will be able to finish off at the weekend.

What else is there? Better pop a list up then with some extras....
