    Morning all.

Havent been around till late yesterday due to being at the hospital with my mum most of the time. Drove home yesterday and will be going back next Monday and staying again till Thursday - well that's the plan anyway. She is really ill; she makes one step forward and then two backwards it seems, but on the other hand, they were talking about getting her out of ICU and back onto a ward, which is actually positive, but then when they say that, something else happens that is worse than the last thing. Like yesterday - she had been relatively fine on Wednesday; but whern I went in yesterday morning, she was bleeding in the stomach, so they were going to take her for an endoscopy last night. Have to ring the hospital shortly to find out what they did, or even whether they did it. I almost decided to stay there rather than leave her, but she has her OH with her, so she isnt alone at least.

Other than that, she has dry gangrene, Raynauds syndrome, a narrowed aortic valve, oedema, low protein and other nutrients in her body, passing protein in the urine, a racing heart beat, low blood pressure.....

Anyway, today I hope to get some housework done. DH kept the kitchen nice while I was away and the dishwasher was empty when I got back, all the dishes washed and put away and the surfaces wiped. Im just going for today's list and not bothering to catch up or anything and then I hope to get a long walk somewhere cos I need some fresh air - hospitals give me the creeps!

kalojac - hugs on your loss - glad you had a good send off for her!

Soappie - WTG!!!! The power of the flylady vibes.

Aunt flo has arrived - 2 weeks late and with avengence! Thanks for the advice on how to cope with the change......I like the idea of finding a cave until it's over.........and I love the Peak District - living in Hazel Grove as a kid fostered a love of the hills and doing Geography added to that - I did my dissertation on Kinder Scout! Sadly York is a bit flat.........

Can I request some flylady vibes please? DS has his driving test at 11.40 - he should pass....but you never know......... we don't have a car so he's had to do it all through driving lessons. My sister passed first time....but my brother-in-law failed 4 times...so we're hoping he's got my sister's genes......
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
